This has gotta be some kind of… screwed up dream…

[ There's lightly panicked breathing, albeit calm for one who has just woken up in a strange world. Adrenaline is high, but there's no one around for him to blame, nothing around for him to throw.

A blond man in bartending regalia lights a cigarette, unconcerned with the fact that the communications device is making a small documentary: Inside the Pocket, the untold story. There's a grunt of disproval, he obviously realizes something's amiss after a quiet beep alerts him to the piece of technology hidden from view. ]

What the hell is-… a phone…?

[ He's obviously stressed, his voice clipped, strained as though he's trying to keep his wits about him. The feed shakes, the image blurs from a violent motion, a rough hand locked around the camera. A thumb moves and you finally see the man's face.

… He looks quite angry, a tick at his brow, a twitch at his jaw where his teeth are clenched around the filter of his abused cigarette. Like an animal backed into a corner. ]

Spyin' on me now? Tch. I don't get it -- whaddaya want me to do?

[ The image takes on a new angle; Shizuo holds the camera up, pointing it down towards his face at a rather artistic angle and he stares up into it with a squint over his sunglasses as though trying to decipher an unintelligible code. ]

Well… fuck this. Fuck you. Like I'll make it that easy!

[ Expression darkening, the cigarette he can be seen holding snaps between his fingers. The device loses focus immediately, white noise flickering briefly when the uneven ground catches it, managing to land with its camera pointed up at grey sky.

Just in time to record the heel of a dress shoe dropping down on the lens. ]

He seems to be out near the lake, dressed in completely normal winter clothing aside from Turkey's Ottoman Empire hat thing balancing awkwardly on his head. He fixes it so it's less over his eyes and kneels down to the communicator with a frown.]

Ah, my apologies... I had intended to speak once I arrived at a nice destination, but it seems such devices are not so patient. [Irritation is there, underneath his polite way of speaking... But he eventually sighs, wrapping his scarf a bit more closely around his neck as he continues to walk, looking to the communicator.]

Hey, so this is gonna sound weird but--does any one out there know about demons? Or how to uh...keep them from running around causing problems?

...Oh, right! I've been thinking and realized a lot of people probably aren't that great at fighting or defending themselves. So I was going to offer myself up as an escort! I can get people to and from places no problem, or bring them supplies and stuff. So if anyone ever needs help like that let me know.

Also, I've got a lot of time on my hands, so I could try and teach some people basic defense and how to sneak around unnoticed, which will come in handy if you wanna avoid monsters. Any takers?

A. You were just out for a stroll. When suddenly. Young girls attack. That's right. You are now being tackled like a pro by a wild fourteen year old and she is yelling at you in Japanese. Happen to know the word... oni?

C. Walking around the city you happen to notice a serene young girl sitting in what is clearly meditation. Maybe she's new and doesn't know about the monsters... Approach and- you'll find she's fast asleep. Fooled you didn't she?

Today is my birthday. I would be very thankful if one of the doctors could remove my chip as a present. I'm much more useful with powers than without. Once I am back at full-force, I can restart the Soup Kitchen in Discedo. My apologies for taking so long on it; I've been preoccupied as of late.
