I found Bread a better suitor because Jack doesn't deserve bread's affections. [For those who don't remember a certain post from the virus event, it is linked.]

It took a lot of hard searching and digging around since I'm sure he's very hard to replace. [Right. Okay then.]

But finally I have succeeded! [And Marco pulls back to reveal a loaf of bread and a stick of butter.] BEHOLD! A match made in heaven.

[So then using a butter knife he just puts butter all over that bread. Why not. And then he starts singing the wedding march. Afraid yet? You should be.]

Aren't they cute together?

[And then as he basks in the glow of a perfect romantic match; he opens his mouth up and eats them.] And now they'll be together forever.

[And she will just to let out some chrips before shaking herself a little as flames and feathers shed off of her. Before attempting to shift back to her normal self... This... Is not good as it seems like she is stuck and instead of being blue, she is now red. And still moulting.]

Oh shit... are you all right?

I think that I am stuck. Why is my body stuck like this?!

[She just goes to stamp her feet a few times, looking more and more like a puffball phoenix then a normal one.]

I was getting stuck earlier too. Don't panic, just stay calm and you should be able to switch back soon. You have to be more careful about switching into things, eh? They could have unexpected consequences.

[playwitchu]

[She goes to shake herself off a little, feathers, sparkles and flames fall off of her. Okay, listening to Marco's words and the shock of not having her powers work right eventually wears off and she does calm down. Another quick shake and she goes to let out a few chrips.]

But that wouldn't be any fun then, don't you think?

[Spreading her wings to give them a few test flaps. Hrm... She quickly is getting the idea of trying to see if she can fly or not like this.]

So this is what being a phoenix is like... [Changing back for the moment has left her mind.]

Yeah I guess so. I had no idea you could be another species too, eh?

[playwitchu]

[Swishes her tail back and forth behind her.]

As long as I see something once, I can change into it.

[Okay, not gonna bother with flying quite yet as she just starts walking now.]

All right, make sure you avoid swimming and seastone, eh? You'll drown.

Being a phoenix comes with a curse. I can't swim. And seastone is a marine metal, it's probably not a worry here.

[playwitchu]

[And here she stops walking and tilts her head.]

That kinda sucks. [Note to self, never take on this form again. She continues to walk to the ports, tucking the wings to herself. Though hrm.... She shakes herself a little bit and let out some more chirps before a human voice comes out of the phoenix.]

Don't you miss swimming? What are the marines?

I wouldn't know actually, I've never been swimming, I ate my devil fruit young.

Marines are law enforcement in my world. They work for "justice" and things like that.

[playwitchu]

What is this thing called Devil fruit?

[She goes to slowly change back still having the phoenix tail if only because she has forgotten how to get rid of them.]

They don't sound like they would be fun. Want to look in the place with me to see if we can find something for Luffy?

That's my curse. Luffy has one too. You eat one and you gain a power of the devil, something like that. Mine is a phoenix.

What does Luffy do?... Do you regret having that curse?

It's one of the warehouses by the port. [Her own warehouse of bones.]

I still think it's cool that you can turn into a phoenix.

You'll have to make sure to ask him.

And hell no. I have no regrets, but definitely not for my devil fruit. I love being a phoenix.

[Heads over to the warehouse.]

I don't look cute, I'm badass. And that's the best part. That and flying.

[Also shows up with his tail out. Stupid powers not working etc.]

You did though. Hnnn, I thought about trying out the flying bit.

[She blinks when he arrives and quickly waves him over.]

Over here, Mister Marco! You came awfully quick. Ready to take a quick peek? [Okay, hopefully this time around the person she is with won't drag her out of here.]
