[China's sitting comfortably near his low table with a puzzled look on his face.]
Last night I had a very strange dream. I was dressed in a female Beijing Opera costume and I was singing and dancing. Maybe I drank too much at the Lantern Festival, or something, aru.
[He pauses to drink some of his green tea, which was sitting in a teacup on the low table.]
By the way, what's this I keep hearing about memories? Are you saying the dream I had was actually a memory? [Guess who hasn't had any experiences yet.]
[OOC: Hey man, this is China. Anyone is free to view memories ranging from his (lonely) childhood, to his dynasties, the wars, present day, and the Christmas he spent with Stocking here in Discedo (since that's the first and only real memory he's recalled of Discedo so far).]

Ah... if he was very tall and muscular and had a crescent moon mustache large enough to hold 6 bananas on each side [What? No, but that really is how Oda measured Whitebeard's mustache.] -- then that would be my Pops.
If he had a scar up by his eye and punched me out of the sky, that would Ace's grandfather.

Ah, it was the first one.
no subject
My Pops then. What was going on, if I might ask?
no subject
He was talking to what seemed to be his crew.
no subject
Eyebrows, huh? So you stopped calling him Opium I see. Yeah, England's back at a pirate age.

Very sure.
England and I have a-- [Decides he doesn't feel like revealing the phoenix thing yet.]
We're both pirates, so we speak the same language.

But thanks for noticing, I try. My brothers are usually the well-mannered ones, to be honest, but since they're not around, I have to pick up the slack.
no subject
Oh? You have brothers? I wish I could meet them since you've already met most of my family, aru.
no subject
1600, actually. And I wish you could as well. I miss them, and they'd get a kick out of this place.

[Don't really know if China and India are cousins in canon yet, but that's what the fanon mostly thinks as well as myself.]
no subject
I'd like that. You're always welcome to tell me all about them, eh? I'm certainly curious.
no subject
And you are always welcome to tell me about your family~! I'm just as curious, aru!
no subject
There's a lot to tell. And you probably wouldn't believe a tenth of it. [But he's instantly put at ease by this offer. Marco could go on forever about his family. Even to the rest of his family.]

This is the part where you tell me that in 4000 years you've learned how to handle anything I could possibly tell you.

You can see the earth from there too. You can see the planet's oceans, landmasses, the blue sky, and even clouds. It's a beautiful site, aru.

Ah well... speaking of which... Let's see. I'm not human, so that gives you a good starting point. Joz is made of diamond, and he's twelve feet tall or so. Actually all of my brothers are taller than me except Haruta and Ace. Haruta's the shortest of us. And has a frog prince motif going -- don't ask. Izou is only a little taller than me, and that might be just because he wears geta sandals. He dresses like a geisha, he's an okama, and even wears those getas into battle. Blamenco is a good ten feet tall but stores giant hammers inside of pockets on his chins, and the hammers are almost double his size. Namur is a shark fishman, and he loves the criminal clothing line made by a talking starfish from Fishman Island. It's a popular brand. Curiel is only about ten feet tall, but he's always wearing this headphones, I really want him to meet Japan because of that. He also like these watermelon bucket hats. It's cute. Fossa is awesome, he's insanely badass and uses his cigar to light his sword on fire.
Atomos and Blenheim are nearly 25 feet tall each, and Speed Jiru isn't too tall, which still puts him head and shoulders taller than me mind you, but he fancies himself a knight so he has a shield and tunic and fights with a lance. And Ace is our fiery hothead. Literally, he's made of fire.
I miss them.

"Frog prince motif"...?
Haha, yes, back home Japan often put on his headphones to drown out my voice. [He laughs dryly.]
You already know Hong Kong, Macau, Korea, Japan, and Taiwan, but I still have to describe the others.

Tibet lives the life of a monk and does not appear to hold grudges, but that is only on the outside. I can sense that he's still alert around me whenever I come over for tea or to meditate alone in the mountains. His land is within my own borders.
India, is our cousin, as I said before and lives west of me. We've also known each other for a long time thanks to trading. However, during the Cold War things grew sour between us and we even fought a short war against each other during the Cold War itself. Ever since then he's been rather bitter towards me, though I can't really blame him. I would have been the same if I was in his shoes and he in mine.
Thailand is another younger brother and he lives near Vietnam. His favorite animal is the elephant, just like India, and he lets us ride on them sometimes. During the Cold War, things between us were rather tense, but during 1978 (still during the Cold War) we began to patch things up. I had to protect him from Vietnam and trading became a big part of our amending process. We still get along rather well today, too, aru.
