discedo | [Action/Video] 001

[If anyone was walking around Discedo, you'll probably spot a soldier standing against a building. That wouldn't be too unusual of a sight, except that this soldier had a giant red, white, and blue shield strapped to his back. He also didn't seem to be bothered by the rain, but he was also wearing a blue helmet with a giant A in the middle of it.

Anyway, there was a small frown on his face as he worked the communicator in his hands, obviously not used to this kind of technology. However, he'll get at least the basic video function working in a few minutes.]

Is... is this working? [Steve looked at the video feed with a somewhat confused expression. He was uncertain about using this thing in the first place, but with his enhanced abilities suddenly disappearing and the thought of the serum only being temporary because of that, he decided to use it. Besides, he wanted to find Bucky and the others as fast as possible. Sneaking around in this place didn't really get him anywhere.]

This is... Captain America. [He seemed a little awkward admitting that.] Does anyone the coordinates of our current location? Or a brief description will help as well.

But once this chip is gone, my abilities will return? [While he still would fight for justice and all that good jazz, even Steve has to admit that having his abilities back would definitely help him.]

[Shaking head.]

I should tell you this before someone starts freaking out but these people...well, they can pull anyone from anywhere and anytime. Including about 70 years apart.

[Surprised.] How is that possible? They're using a machine?

The same one that brings us here. I've heard quite a few different times like 1937 up to 2012. Could be earlier or further than what I know.

[Wow, 2012? That seems so far away. Steve wonders if there's flying cars then. Maybe Howard or at least his ideas helped with that.]

That's really amazing... [However, Steve soon shakes his head.] But they shouldn't bring people here against their will.

Would've been better if they asked first but honestly, even with all the crazy and chaos, there's good here. If it wasn't for this place, I wouldn't have met the friends I have now.

Well, until we all get out of here, you'll need a place to stay. Just as long as the apartment is not occupied, you can take it. Kind of first come, first served.

Nope, some do trading while some just give their services for free. I'm part of the second group because training and sparring is pretty much a given if you want to make sure to keep the monsters off your back.

[Training and sparring seems to catch his interest.] You spar? What style?

Mostly Shaolin Kung Fu; been doing it for a long time but recently been teaching it for the past couple of years.

[Glad someone else is interested in sparring too.]

[It never hurt to learn new close-range combat. Although, he needs to do a few things first.]

What times do you teach it?

In the evenings mostly; it's in the town of Dissimulo about two hours from here by subway. I come here mostly for my patrol shift but I'm usually there.

[He mentally notes down the information.]

I eventually plan on attending. Should I call you before I stop by?

Only if you want to. I don't mind visitors coming in with no prior arrangement.

You mentioned earlier about a "chip." Which doctors can remove it?

There's one here in town, Cube, who can remove them. You can contact him at

loyal_cube and go from there.

There's another way I've been hearing as of late: if you look at a message on your communicator at midnight and put your name in, something happens to you. Every time that's been going on, their chip's been removed. It's very seedy but it's there.

Any known side effects from that method?

Honestly, it varies from person to person. Some just get sick for a week to turning into kids. Sometimes their powers go a little nuts but that's the gist of it.
