[Coming from China's comm today is a series of random notes from his bamboo flute. Doesn't sound like the usual expertise he displays. What about the whole "changing color phenomenon"? [The flute makes a very high pitch cry as China blows all his air into the instrument. Then, again, comes the--]

[He keeps doing it. Taking a deep breath. Blowing with all his might into the instrument. Hopefully no one becomes deaf because of him.]

When I looked out the window, I saw a sign, but I could not read the strange writing on it.

[Xi Shi gently coaxes him to let her go as she pushes the door open with her head, careful not to hit Taiwan.

Xi Shi nuzzles the familiar face as a greeting before gesturing at China, who was sitting on a pillow.]

[She pets Xi Shi automatically smiling, but when she sees China... He was so small.] Um...

[Just like in that vision she saw, except this is no vision.]

Can you take me home? Everyone is probably wondering where I am.

[C-can she pick him up]

Um...sorry... [Trying to smile, but she actually looks a little sad] I wish it were that easy...

[He droops when he hears that. He wipes at an eye with an oversized sleeve.]

[Pulling him close for a hug] I'll try to take care of you, is that okay? T-this place isn't really so bad...

I-I guess not, as long as I am not alone. [He doesn't struggle at all when she hugs him.]

Could I call you Jiě Jie, then?

[small>Oh, how the tables have turned.]

[She blinks at that, her mouth dropping open just slightly, and then with a wide, genuine smile that lights up the room] Of course!
