((The feed starts out very...GREEN!! Looks like someone left their communicator in the grass. Oh well. Guess we'll just have to enjoy the feed and NATURE for a little while. Guess it's the evening... Not much to see right now, you guys.But! Tune in. Sounds like things are indeed happening. The splashing of water faintly indicates where the feed originates. Occasionally the green wall of leaf is blown aside just slightly, showing off the shoreline and plain sky. You can guess it's a nice day out. Not sure why anyone would want to go swimming in this weather, or in THAT water. Crazy bastards, but isn't Discedo full of 'em.

More splashing; silence picks up. The leaf blocking your view rustles again, and a quick rush of the wind blows it momentarily out of the way.

While the scene was fleeting, anyone could rewind back and remind themselves that this is no joke. The pink haired doctor--Sakura, unsurprisingly--lays across the beach with her bodyguard over her. His mouth reaches down to touch hers. It's distant, but telling; the leaf replaces the scene almost immediately.

When it's finally blown out of the way again, some minutes later, she's sitting up, her arms swung around his neck. Shizuo is just then finding his way through this hug.))

((ooc; Backdated to the evening of the 16th over Shizuo's feed. They won't be responding to any messages until the next day (the 17th), MEANING by the time they say anything to anybody, they're caught up in the middle of Truth or Dare!!! Additionally, Sakura and Shizuo were in the hospital that evening, rather than returning home. Housemates should have gotten a message about not showing up. Here's a log if anyone cares for details HAHA.

He slaps a hand against the side of his face, eyebrow twitching, jaw clenching. ]

[ Shizuo will fall for his shenanigans every time. ]

Everything sucks. I'm still trying to get more booze for the bar and Pops is actually rationing himself which is weird. Telling the truth is god damned annoying, but I'm trying to make it funny, and I've been collecting random shitty trinkets off of monsters I fight to put in a treasure hunt a month from now.

And that was supposed to be a secret so don't let on that you know, eh.

Well the monster thing... I couldn't help ya with that. And Ojiisan shouldn't pop over to the bar. Why's he rationin' himself? He worried the bar's gonna run out?

[ Now normally Shizuo's a closed book and people can trust him to keep a secret. But thanks to the event, he wants to defy Marco and tell everyone. He gives the other a meaningful look, like he should probably stop him. ]

I'm not gonna tell anybody right now. [ Frown frown. ]

I don't mind help. They're usually pretty easy for me to deal with, but finding interesting creatures or trinkets is tougher.

And aye. I told Pops there was a limited amount but he's never been this restrained before... I mean he's smaller too, but ah... I just worry about him too much. [Rubs the back of his neck a little embarrassed.]

[And then frowns with Shizuo.] What? Why? It won't be a fun surprise if everyone knows. And they might go looking early and it's not ready yet.

You'll tell me if you need anything, then? [ He nodnods, keeping busy is important. ] But isn't it okay to worry about your family?

[ Shizuo tries to avoid forward statements; the misinterpretations were getting to him and he didn't like coming across as an asshole to someone who has been very kind to him. ] For some reason I don't do the opposite of what people tell me. I want to give away your secret, I can't normally keep secrets.

Am I makin' sense? [ There he goes, walking away to tell secrets. What a terrible affliction. It's clear he's trying to fight against it, but it's not working. ] Ugh...

[Nods.] I will. And... yeah. It is. But when it comes to them I go a little overboard. If there's only so much someone can do, no sense worrying beyond that point, right?

[Blinks and quickly nods, giving an order in full first division commander and acting captain voice.] Then you fucking better spread the word matey, or I'll have you tending bar ever day this week until morn'.

[He meant to say that more piratical and therefore utterly ridiculous but lying. Gdi. He misses lying.]

[ Shizuo just nods along for the likely rhetorical question he's asked about family. If it's one thing he understands, it's how to treat loved ones properly and give them space when they need it.

He smiles and stops mid-stride when Marco figures out what to say, turning back to him in clear defiance. But it's the right kind and he's relieved. He never liked giving away the secrets of others. ]

I'm not gonna say thanks. But tendin' the bar every day seems bad for someone like me. I'd mind it.
