[ Hong Kong has his comm set up for a completely intentional, confessional style video. He's not wandering around or flicking things into buckets of water or filming himself blowing something up. Well, he ought to do that eventually, but not today. ]

So, hey. I didn't realize it yesterday because of all the celebrating and stuff, but it looks like it's been a year since I got here. Doesn't really feel like it. I mean, I seriously never thought I was gonna be here for that long.

Even though it's not that long, I guess. Anyway, I'm just posting this because I kinda wanted to say thanks to everyone. I know this place is like, super ridiculous sometimes, but there's a lotta people who work hard to make it better for us.

So, thanks.

And don't laugh, okay? I'm being serious here.

[ With that, he looks aside, seeming kind of embarrassed. He then ends the feed. ]

Now? Yeah, that'd be fine. Gimme like, 20 minutes? I need to get some stuff ready.

Oh sorry I can come over another time.

No, I mean, I need to get the stuff ready so we can cook. You can totally come over.

Okay okay.

( so nervous. she waves and disconnects. how much time should she wait? it's been a while since she's dealt with people outside of her friendzone or mentor zone. except for france and she messed that up with hugging him.

oh well. she's at his door an hour later with the evaporated milk and some very sad looking sunflowers as a gift. )

[ And he opens the door promptly, stepping aside so she can enter. ] Hey, Yuki. C'mon in.

[flourisher]

( she bows and then walks in gracefully. regardless of the fact that she is nervous, a bit sweaty, and pretty much regretting this all, she was still a pureblood princess; even more so that she had her chip removed. she had to act the part and control her hunger. )

These are for you Hong Kong-San.

( yuki hands over the flowers to him. )

[ He bows respectfully, holding it for a moment. Then, he rises and accepts the flowers. ] Thanks. You didn't have to do anything like that, y'know.

[ He beckons for her to enter, keeping an eye on her as she does. ]

You....you have a nice place. My apartment...when I returned to it recently I found it messy and with my old clothing laying around. I think I might sell it. I've grown taller from when I was a human. I used to be much shorter. Do you know anyone who would want them?

( she looks at him with respect. )

Ah anyways shall we begin? I don't want to keep you awake for too long.

I bet you could find someone, yeah. Kinda depends on how much shorter you were, right?

[ He leads her into the kitchen. ]

Well I used to be 152 cenimeters, now I'm roughly 164 cenimeters. Or four feet nine, and five feet three.

Well alright then. What do I need to do first?

[bauhinia]

There aren't a lot of young girls here, but if I think of anyone, I'll let you know, okay?

[ All right. In the kitchen then. ]

I guess the first thing we should do is measure out ingredients.

[flourisher]

I-I'm not that young! Sure I was before, but now I'm older. Give me a few thousand years and I'll be older. I mean I am turning nineteen.

( she becomes a bit fustrated. oh how zero used to tease her like that, and cross-san did too! )

Alright then.

[bauhinia]

[ He raises his hand to her head height. ] I just meant your height. [ Not that that's much better. Sorry! ]

Anyway, let's start. I got a bowl for mixing, right there. [ Pointing. ] And here's the recipe, I wrote it up so you can take it with you if you wanna.

[ Handing that over. ]

[flourisher]

( oh god so mean. that also reminds her of other faults; not being as beautiful and stunning as purebloods should be, or as smart as they should be (school wise), and being flat chested. )

( she looks at everything then grabs the recipe and reads it. )

Hmm seems easy enough.

[ Well, he doesn't know about all that. He was just pointing it out for practical reasons! ]

It's not too tough. Mostly you just have to make sure you stick with it when you're heating it up.

[flourisher]

Stick with it huh?

( sigh. she re-reads it and then looks up at him. )

May I start um...I can stick to san as an honorific or do I have to call you sempai? I mean surely you must be millions of years older than me.

Yeah, otherwise it'll get ruined.

[ He cocks his head to one side. ]

Just 'Hong Kong' is fine, y'know. I'm only like, 170.

[flourisher]

Wow you're pretty young. I thought you'd be older, but then again you look like you're in your teens...

( she makes an oh sound then begins to look around. )

So what do I do first?

[bauhinia]

Yeah, I'm pretty young compared to most of us.

[ He points to the sink. ] Can you measure out some water for us? We need what the recipe calls for, plus what the evaporated milk calls for, okay?

[flourisher]

Alright then.

( and she does each thing but slowly and carefully. she knows herself. )

[bauhinia]

[ Meanwhile, he'll start setting out more measuring cups in front of the different ingredients. ] That's good. Now we need to mix the milk and water. Not all of it, just the stuff we need for the milk.
