discedo | [Action/Video] 001

[If anyone was walking around Discedo, you'll probably spot a soldier standing against a building. That wouldn't be too unusual of a sight, except that this soldier had a giant red, white, and blue shield strapped to his back. He also didn't seem to be bothered by the rain, but he was also wearing a blue helmet with a giant A in the middle of it.

Anyway, there was a small frown on his face as he worked the communicator in his hands, obviously not used to this kind of technology. However, he'll get at least the basic video function working in a few minutes.]

Is... is this working? [Steve looked at the video feed with a somewhat confused expression. He was uncertain about using this thing in the first place, but with his enhanced abilities suddenly disappearing and the thought of the serum only being temporary because of that, he decided to use it. Besides, he wanted to find Bucky and the others as fast as possible. Sneaking around in this place didn't really get him anywhere.]

This is... Captain America. [He seemed a little awkward admitting that.] Does anyone the coordinates of our current location? Or a brief description will help as well.

They first took me from 1937, then 1967, and now 2012.

[Steve blinks, noting the large of years between the dates. And yet Wang Yao looked very young still.]

[He's in a good mood, so he takes it as a compliment.]

Well, I always make sure my physical appearance has a slight glow to it.

So you're not fully human? [That was probably a dumb question, but oh well.]

That would be correct, aru. I am one of those personified countries.

Like America?

Y...es. [Dragging the yes because, true, he is a personified country like America is, but he is not like America personality wise.]

Wang Yao is my human name, but my true name would be China. I don't mind if you call me Yao or China. I respond to both in the same way.

[Steve is getting the feeling that America has bothered a few people here.]

How many personified countries are here?

[You have no idea, Steve...]

Well, there's America, Norway, Hungary, Vietnam, Taiwan, Macau, Hong Kong, and myself. Greece, Turkey, Korea, England, and Japan used to be here too, but it seems they have all been returned home.

For the most part, except for Greece and Turkey. Those two can never get along no matter where they are, aru.

I'm glad that most are getting along. [Hearing personified countries working together is always a positive thing.]

So am I. All the fighting in the twentieth century made me exhausted.

The World Wars. [And not to mention the other wars that were probably going on.]

Yes, not to mention all the changes my country underwent.

Although, America mentioned to me that I'm from a different reality of Earth. [Which was a little confusing.]

He probably isn't too far from the truth, surprisingly. A lot of people here seem to be from different versions of Earth.

My world has really expanded since I've arrived here...

I can say for certain that being here broadens your horizons over the extent. I've seen much in my life of over five thousand years, but Fortuna never ceases to surprise me, in both good and bad ways. [Fortuna even gave him a bride.]

Are you referring to the fact that you have been taken away right in the middle of a war?
