discedo | [Action/Video] 001

[If anyone was walking around Discedo, you'll probably spot a soldier standing against a building. That wouldn't be too unusual of a sight, except that this soldier had a giant red, white, and blue shield strapped to his back. He also didn't seem to be bothered by the rain, but he was also wearing a blue helmet with a giant A in the middle of it.

Anyway, there was a small frown on his face as he worked the communicator in his hands, obviously not used to this kind of technology. However, he'll get at least the basic video function working in a few minutes.]

Is... is this working? [Steve looked at the video feed with a somewhat confused expression. He was uncertain about using this thing in the first place, but with his enhanced abilities suddenly disappearing and the thought of the serum only being temporary because of that, he decided to use it. Besides, he wanted to find Bucky and the others as fast as possible. Sneaking around in this place didn't really get him anywhere.]

This is... Captain America. [He seemed a little awkward admitting that.] Does anyone the coordinates of our current location? Or a brief description will help as well.

"Captive" is a misnomer at best. This isn't a prison. We're just stranded.

These scientists are keeping us here. [For the most part anyway. He heard that they sometimes release individuals, but that's only on their own action.]

Not really. They just don't let anyone die. If you can figure out space travel of your own free will, you're welcome to try, not that there are ready charts to get back or anything.

Is anyone working on space travel? [It seems very difficult in a place like this. He's no technological expert either.] Are there any planets nearby?

[A shrug.] One kid built a rocket out of here. Either he succeeded in escape or died... no one's sure since he hasn't come back since.

[A kid built a rocket? Since Steve's concept of rockets is probably a bit outdated, the soldier wonders how one can even ride one to space.]

Then there's advanced technology here. Enough to build a rocket.

Rather, the kid himself came from such a time period where it was easier. And he had powers that helped with that.

[Since the "kid" was a troll. And/or alien depending on how you look at it.]

[Discedo is just. Very confusing.]

Do you know where he built this rocket or any of the parts that he used?

In Discedo. He took the parts with him though so I kind of doubt that avenue's still open even if you knew how to recreate it.

You just got taken to a really distant world, god knows where in relation to everything else and you're the same as when you were on your own planet. Time gets a little messed up from such a thing, eh?

People here can be from the future of their friends' times, or in the past of it. Or they might even be dead in their own world, but continue living on here. We've had people entirely different centuries apart from each other even if they're both from "Earth."

If your friends come here from the future of you, they'll say you were right there fighting alongside. When you get sent back, you'll go straight back to the point you were taken from.

Everything here is just a vacation. Might as well enjoy it while you can, eh.

[Steve is having a difficult time understanding everything. Or maybe just believing all of that in general.]

Right, you get taken from your time and home, brought over here and join the other time bubbles in one big one. Then when you get sent back, back you go in a bubble again.
