[ When the communicator turns on, you are immediately able to tell that Shizuo is in some kind of distress.

Not because you can see him, all you seem to be looking at is an expanse of sky and a few blond hairs like he's laying next to the device. The hoarse breathing and disoriented muttering is a dead giveaway though and he doesn't look like he's ready to walk around for a while yet. This might be because he's trying to sort out what happened in his head, but frustrated groaning signifies he hasn't had much luck.

A seagull circles him, perhaps a hint to where he is. Near water of some sort, the lapping of waves against something is making a noticeable sound in the receiver. The shoulder of a crumpled white shirt comes into view finally, his face following suit. He decided to sit up after all. ]

... I need... [ He closes his eyes and rubs at one of them tiredly; his voice is husky, he's pale, shaking, sweating, his hair is in complete disarray and there seems to be dried blood on his collar. ] I need help. Don't know what happened...

[ Shizuo never asks for help, but this time seems different. ] Don't know where I am. Don't know how I got here. I was... where was I... I can't feel anything.

[ With that he lays back down, slowly but surely, to wait for a reply. ]

[ Shizuo has gotten his chip removed anonymously! He's experiencing the removal sickness and his abilities, if angered, will go haywire, but other than that there are no other symptoms present. He just doesn't know where the fuck he is, but he hasn't looked at his map.

Edit: Gin found him! Everything but action is welcomed so hard. ]

Oh. Lucky guy. [ He sniffs a little, with an air of amusement. ] Figures it only happens to me, feh.

Sorry to hear it, Heiwajima-san.. B-but.. at least you got out your chip, right? That's a good thing!

Don't mind me, kid, I'm just complainin'. [ A pause in reply to the chip comment. ] Maybe... I'm a monster again. But this... isn't like before...

[ He was stronger, it was more potent. ] I think everyone should steer clear... for a few days, anyway. 'Til I get this all sorted out...

[ .. give Yukiteru a moment, what he hears there.. ]

A.. monster? [ there's maybe something like fear in his tone, but it's more curiosity - or maybe even worry. ] W-what do you mean by that?

Ever since I was little I was like this. Except now that I'm stronger... I don't know... [ Shakes head. ]

If I could lift trees and vending machines and trucks before, I don't know what's gonna happen now.

.. But.. if you're strong, that doesn't necessarily mean you're dangerous, right? You could help other people with that strength.

[ The prospect of Shizuo getting pissed off is.. rather frightening to him, yes, even if he's not admitting it out loud just yet. But the last part.. for a moment he hesitates, but then he answers - ]

This is supposed to be secret, but I trust you. [ even if him trusting people easily is usually his downfall, but.. this guy has been pretty nice to him recently, right? It would be wrong to not let him know. ]

[ He huffs and the corner of his lip twitches up. ]

[ He was about to get all defensive about it really being true.. but then there's that last part and he just breathes a sigh of relief. ]

I know it sounds like fantasy, yes.. But it really is real. I couldn't believe it until I saw it with my own eyes as well, really.

But.. um, I guess it's a little complicated to explain, but it's called a 'Future Diary'. It shows messages about what's going to happen from one time to the next, like some sort of future me wrote them in there. It can be big things, small things, anything at all.

Does it only show you stuff revolving around you? Or can you see other people's?

Example... can you find out what I'll say next? I assume it has limits or somethin'...

Yeah, it does have limits. It can't say anything about what happens to me, for example, only things around me. Like.. if it's about to rain, then it'll tell me that if I'd look.

Well at least you'll always be ready with an umbrella.
