There are legendary animals in my world as well, though they are considerably larger than three times your size. I can summon a few.

I wouldn't think to eat something so useful in a fight.

Aye, even the giants wouldn't eat the video den den mushi, that's just... disturbing. Like worse than eating people. [Seriously. Welcome to One Piece. It's okay to have Drake (a T-Rex zoan) or Big Mom eat human people, and those who are Lucci (leopard zoan) be also borderline cannibalistic and obsessed with blood; but hurt a den den mushi? Then you've gone too far.]

The only ones I've seen used as food are smaller than a fist and they aren't psychic. Just the kind that eat algae off of rocks and ships.
