[ Hello, Discedians. It's been far too long since we had Drawing Adventures with Hong Kong, hasn't it? Since we're overdue for more, here we go. This time, it's a special occasion!

Okay, it's a little past due, but Hong Kong had a few other things on his mind when this was relevant. So now you get to go on a lovely adventure with him.

And… if you're a young'n, you might want to look away. Pretend this is a picture of bunnies and butterflies frolicking through a field of pretty flowers!

What it actually is, is some slightly questionable artwork of… England.

Yeah, Hong Kong is that shameless. He already got Japan, so his not-dad is apparently next on The List.

The first of these is a lovely and mostly subtle image of England with Portugal. Well, you'd only know that if you know Portugal, because most of the features are obscured, except for one or two key ones. C'mon, there's so much… UST.

No, there's no UST like the next drawing. The two kings of UST, no matter what France says about America. This is the best one, because it has the most attention to detail (and is probably the most explicit, since France would surely like that). Following that is one of England with Spain, though this one is again a little sketchy. Hong Kong doesn't really hang out with Spain a lot.

Or ever, really.

There's a definite pause here, like he's trying to decide what next. Oh, how about lady France? She was pretty cool. He considers lady England, but first, that's almost too much, and second, she'd probably find a way to kill him dead. Sorry dad, he's way more afraid of her. :'| ]

[ Isn't he just. So beautifully cryptic. ]

Yeah, I mean, you didn't hear it from me or anything. They're both kinda alike, but England's more obvious about it. Japan spends too much time trying to hide it.

[ He says this all very nonchalantly, even though this is probably the first time he's brought up Japan to Marco in quite a while now. ]

[That's okay, Marco doesn't wince at the mere mention of Japan at this point, especially in good/fond contexts.]

England hides it less, even? I can't imagine why he doesn't get along with France then.

[ Hong Kong's still kind of mopey, but thankfully he's not thinking about it too much right now? ]

I didn't say he didn't try to hide it. They both try to hide it. And France just kinda lets it all hang out, I guess.

[Laughs.] Go figure.

Still I think you're underestimating Japa-- [Did I say he was past wincing over fond things? I lied. Marco freezes up a little and forcibly deadpan smiles.] Japan is just very sneaky, eh?

[Marco will be right back, he's just getting some water and his glasses.]

[ He just shrugs. Go figure indeed. He's somewhere in the middle. He's not actually perverted, he's just mimicking bad behavior he's seen displayed around him, see. And he's definitely not afraid of people finding out. ]

Yeah. Yeah, he is. [ He'll just wait here while you get those glasses, Marco. He'll wait right here and stare intensely at his table. Yep. ]

[He's not really sure what to say. Hong Kong would see Japan again back home... and Marco would find a way there. He promised himself no matter what. Fuck it, changing topic back to England.]

So you think England really hates France as much as he acts?

[ Hong Kong's worried for both of them, because it's not about whether or not they'll see Japan again. He believes that part. But the same Japan...? ]

No way. Not possible. And yes, absolutely.

[Yeah, though Marco has come to terms with how he wants to handle that at least.]

[And he just laughs.] What an answer.

[ Hong Kong's... still unsure. Maybe because they've had a somewhat rocky relationship in the past. He kind of liked how things were here. He probably wouldn't confess that to anyone, not even Marco. ]

All 100% true.

[;; Awww sad. Guh between Marco trying to seem like it's not getting him down, and then still getting down as hell about it he is really going to start drinking or something. /Plays this on a boombox outside his window in an 80s moment.]

I have no doubts.

[ Hong Kong would join him at this rate. Well, who else is he going to go drinking with, right?! (Maybe Sasuke, but we've seen his drunken escapades and also he probably doesn't miss Japan and would have no reason to listen to Hong Kong drunkenly ramble about him or something.) ]

Oh yeah? None at all? [ Smart guy. ]

[So far Marco getting drunk and pulling a Shanks by making others drink with him has been par for the course. So Hong Kong will just be next. And Greece. And England. And eventually he will have gotten half of Discedo drunk with him. And that is how feelings get numb yup.]

I truly doubt even England knows himself as well as you do. So that's one doubt. In the reverse.

[ Aw, don't go there, Marco. How's this, Hong Kong will skip the alcohol and you can go wandering around out in the forest with him or something? ]

Look, all I'm saying is, I take notes and I lived with him a long time. That's all. You can't go three feet without running into their UST.

[He is always up for that, though he's unlikely to drop the "Nope I'm okay" thing for the sake of trying to keep other spirits up and going etc. But that's okay, that's generally how he gets to a better place.]

[And Marco just laughs.] No wonder they were a favorite of Japan's to draw.

[He is also tempted to join that Japan's drawings/fetishes discussion with Vietnam, tempted like burning.]

[ Hong Kong will harass him with distractions until he doesn't have to think about it anymore. Something. He'll think of something. ]

He does kinda go for that, doesn't he? [ Shaking his head a little. ]

[ Oh, please do, Marco. Please do. ]

[Distractions are a beautiful thing man.]

Can you blame him? [... Marco ships them okay.]

[ They really are. Hong Kong is a big proponent of their merits. ]

Obviously not, yeah? I mean, I drew them too. Then again, England is kinda like my dad.

Admittedly the idea of my Pops having...

[Shivers. Never ever going there.]

Yeah, but you draw it for other reasons, eh?

Yeah, I know. It's super weird. But he's not really my dad and I've got my Reasons.

[ Mysterious capital. ]

Yeah, it's different, and it's fine. [Waves a hand.] Don't worry about it.

Birthdays are special occasions, eh?

Yeah, they're a little weird for us, but sure they are.

Given the way America celebrates his I wouldn't say that. You'd be amazed what some pirates do for theirs.

Aye. One guy I knew thought it'd be hilarious to have a cattle run, so he just angered all these bulls and tries to outrun them.
