[The flute makes a very high pitch cry as China blows all his air into the instrument. Then, again, comes the--]

[He keeps doing it. Taking a deep breath. Blowing with all his might into the instrument. Hopefully no one becomes deaf because of him.]

Well, the language that people speak here is strange. It sounds only like gibberish to me.

So far I know the phrase, "Your device is on," which seems to be a sort of greeting in this place. Other words I know are "yes" and "no," but I do not know what they mean. People here just say it often.

I think you're going to have more luck with "hello" as a greeting. "Yes" is yes and "no" is no.
