[There's sounds of China playing his bamboo flute. No specific song, just a couple of notes. However, some of the notes begin to fail. There's a tremble in them until they come out as nothing more than a raspy sound. Unseen by others, China takes his flute away from his lips.]

I never got to tell her what I wanted I say.

[If anyone wants to run into him, he's sitting on a tree branch within Discedo's Horizon Park.]

I understand. [If he doesn't want to talk about it, then he doesn't want to talk about it. China's not America, he respects people's privacy.]

It's not easy, I know that. However, I learned the hard way that to cling to such things is not good. On the other hand, you shouldn't completely let go either; I also learned that the hard way.

You remember, but you don't cling, you move on with time.

[Staring just trying to figure that logic out]

That's why you don't completely let go, but at the same time you do not hang on to the point where you are clinging as though your life depended on it.

Humans are adaptable beings and so are beings like me, aru. Except in our case, we don't have a choice but to be adaptable. If we were not, we would have died just like all the others who couldn't adapt to changing times.

[Denzel keeps pondering. Not let go but don't cling.]

Of course it would make sense. I can't imagine being related to someone like America or England.

[England, ew... That would be the worse.]

Because... they are so strange, not to mention rude! Westerners in general are strange, aru. Especially the way they introduce themselves, saying their given name first instead of their last name.

Yes, I know I'm strange. But it's besides the point I am a Westener.

If you know my country's history with the Western world, then you would understand my feelings. I have good reasons for feeling wary of Westerners, aru.
