[There's sounds of China playing his bamboo flute. No specific song, just a couple of notes. However, some of the notes begin to fail. There's a tremble in them until they come out as nothing more than a raspy sound. Unseen by others, China takes his flute away from his lips.]

I never got to tell her what I wanted I say.

[If anyone wants to run into him, he's sitting on a tree branch within Discedo's Horizon Park.]

Yes, and I got to know about her just as much as she learned about my life. She has a sister, I don't know if she is older or younger, though. They both live with a priest named Garterbelt.

Then I told her about my family, life back home, she told me about the heaven she comes from. Of course, there are still many things we could have told each other.

[He looks up to the sky with a curious look replacing his melancholy one.] What should I say if her sister appears first, I wonder? It would be too sudden to tell her upfront of our relationship, especially if she's a protective sister, aru.

[A distant sigh. Would he tell China or the others about Japan and him if Japan went home again? Of course if Marco went home he'd want Japan to instantly tell any of Marco's brothers about him... but Japan was nakama.]

What did she tell you about her sister?

Something about her sister messing up one of her chances at becoming a movie star. From what Stocking told me, though, she was able to get back at her sister. How, I do not know.

[He's not sure if he wants to know either. He remembers when Vietnam and Taiwan used to have their squabbles back when they all lived together. Women are scary when they get angry...]

I guess that's the kind of thing you should save for meeting her then and decide once you get to know her. That's how I'd handle you and Japan's family.

Well, Stocking mentioned another thing about her sister... [He begins to blush furiously.]

Being an angel?

No, if one sister is an angel then it only makes sense if the other is one too.

[His blush doesn't diminish at all.]

Eh? Is it something embarrassing then?

Well... [He leans into whisper putting a hand to the side of his mouth.]

She says her sister has sex with nearly every man she finds attractive and that her goal is to have sex with one thousand men before she returns to heaven...

[Chokes on his laughter, but ... mostly holds it back.]

That's quite some goal, eh?

Though if she was here... I think you might not want to ah... run the risk of upsetting Stocking with that. Not that you would be thinking about it.

Of course I wouldn't do something like that with her sister.

I am already taken by Stocking and... [He says this much more quietly:] Who knows what sort of things her sister is carrying...

[Even if she is an angel, you never know!]

With a goal of one thousand men, I'd have to think.

Yet at the same time I'd rather not think about it.

I am sure I could work something out with her. Older siblings are always protective of their younger ones. Yet, I go easier on your relationship with Japan because... I feel that I owe him much for what I did last time I was here.

Of course, I have much more amends in mind for this issue, aru.

You should probably try to tell him that more than me, eh.

I mean, I'm glad. But for his sake, I'd rather he knew your plans, or at least just that you have some in place.

Yes, but I have not seen him on the network lately, so I haven't had the chance to tell him yet.

[A moment of silence before he adds:]

Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macau all respected my decision in dating Stocking and all were willing to accept her. I should be able to do the same for Kiku, as a brother and as a friend.

I have tried that too, but not once have I even caught a glance of him outside, even though I go for a walk everyday, aru. I wonder if he is avoiding me... Last time we saw each other in person, I was so close to telling him, but then he left and I have not seen him since.

[He returns the nod.] Of course, I'm glad to see Kiku has found someone that can stay with him for a long time too.

[Nods.] Sorry I can't help more. It's a touchy thing. Perhaps when he's ready he'll find you. I'm just sorry that it's taking him so long. He's still childish in a few of these ways at times. [But it's spoken with complete and total adoration. He really genuinely loves Kiku for everything and all of it.]

I already know that, I'm the one that raised him after all.

Unlike him, I had no one to raise me and teach me in such a personal way. I was alone from the day of my birth.

So I've heard. But though he doesn't wish to be lonely, sometimes that things you want for him will be at odd, eh.

Of course, no one ever wishes to be lonely, at least not forever.

However...Jīnrì shì, jīnrì bì. "Things of today, accomplished today."

Aye. One step at a time, eh.

Well, the meaning behind it is: Don't put off until tomorrow what can be finished today.

[Stares at briefly wondering if he accidentally conveyed that he didn't understand that. Oh well, deadpan nod.]
