[China's sitting comfortably near his low table with a puzzled look on his face.]

Last night I had a very strange dream. I was dressed in a female Beijing Opera costume and I was singing and dancing. Maybe I drank too much at the Lantern Festival, or something, aru.

[He pauses to drink some of his green tea, which was sitting in a teacup on the low table.]

By the way, what's this I keep hearing about memories? Are you saying the dream I had was actually a memory? [Guess who hasn't had any experiences yet.]

[OOC: Hey man, this is China. Anyone is free to view memories ranging from his (lonely) childhood, to his dynasties, the wars, present day, and the Christmas he spent with Stocking here in Discedo (since that's the first and only real memory he's recalled of Discedo so far).]

Wait... What do you mean you have video footage? So it actually happened?

Oh yeah, definitely. I'll show you, if you wanna see. You'll have to come over here though.

[He grumbles.] Oh, fine. I won't believe it until I see proof anyway.

[Within fifteen minutes, he's knocking at the door.]

[ This is Hong Kong opening the door and waving. ] Yo.

Nihao.

So... [He shrugs, a puzzled look on his features.] Where is the evidence?

[ He holds up his communicator. ] It's on here. I got the video ready to go, so you can watch it if you want. [ Handing it over, just like that. ]

[He watches the video silently.] ...Why was everyone effected?

I dunno, honestly. I guess it's just how this place works sometimes.

Either way, I've remembered something again. I wonder if this means everything will come back to me in the form of dreams.

By the way, Hong Kong, what's all this talk about being able to see other people's memories.

[Cue a vision of China when he was a little child, sleeping all by himself in the woods.]

[ What convenient timing. Hong Kong looks off to the side. ]

I guess it's going around.

Hm? What's the matter?

It's nothing. [ Giving China an even look now. ] Don't worry about it, okay?

If you say so...

[He hands the comm back over to him before suddenly taking on a serious expression.]

Hong Kong, I want you to tell me what happened last time I was here. I already know that it's not going to be good, so tell me everything, please.

[A bit blunt yes, but ever since that talk with Marco, he wanted to know now more than ever.]

Everything? [ It's almost not even a question. He's wary, with good reason, about narrating everything to China. Things are kind of tricky either way though, and it would be cruel to refuse just for the sake of refusing. Nevertheless, that doesn't mean he wants to talk about all of it. ]

Yes, everything. I won't be able to remember if you, Japan, and Taiwan tell me nothing about what happened last time. The main reason I remembered Stocking first was because of the necklace she wears, I was the one who made it for her, so I always felt this... warm, good feeling whenever I saw it, until I finally remembered why it has that effect on me.

Surely you want me to recall, don't you? I know not I what I did that's keeping you all so quiet, but your very silence gives the seriousness of the situation away. I want to make amends, Hong Kong, with our whole family.

I plan on questioning Rìběn and Taiwan as well. If it will help, I can make some tea for us while we talk.

All right, I'll tell you some things. I'm gonna leave some of it to Japan and Taiwan though, if that's fine with you.

[ A beat. ] And yeah, we oughta have tea.

Of course.

[He nods.] Then I hope you don't mind me using your kitchen. [He's already walking there, though, and taking the ingredients and cups out from the cabinet.]

[ Following behind and leaning against the doorframe with his arms crossed. ] If you need anything, let me know.

[ He knows better than to try and interfere otherwise. ]

[He hums in reply.] Let's talk while I make the tea, shall we?

[He pours the water into the teapot.]

So... what happened?

I can only tell you about August onward, because that's when I got here. I haven't gotten any memories back from the times I was here before that.

Really, so you too then? But you still remember nothing from that time?

Then why do I remember my own past times if you don't?

I dunno why. I guess it doesn't really matter, yeah?

Between what we can tell you and what you remember on your own, you'll probably have the full picture.

I... suppose.

[He checks on the tea before turning off the stove and taking the tea pot off of it.]
