[Things have been pretty quiet from this guy for a bit. However, he needs to address everyone about some of the recent changes after this craziness with the body switching.]

To everyone who has noticed, both Commander Kresnik and Lieutenant Enil have been sent home. So that means there isn't many people on the Watch as of now.

[Seriously, how many were left?]

For those who don't what I'm talking about, the Watch is like a volunteer force that tries to protect the cities when things go wrong or during monster attacks. It's been...lacking lately but I'm getting things together so we would be prepared if a situation happens. While a good portion of the problems may be scientist-involved it doesn't mean that we can't help in some way or another.

Hire fighters who don't normally work for the law, to help to enforce it? Pay them in food or something, and that could work.

To me right now, it's not about the law. I just want to be able to protect others when things get bad.

I'm sticking with Shinjiro's policy of keeping the Northern Lights a refuge for those who need it. And Tatsumi knows I'll be the first to kill him if he messes anyone up in my bar.

As for emergencies...

Other than "Don't blink," and run, it's not like we can do much if Eridan's angels show up, right? And you said it yourself, most of the problems are Scientist-related.

You mean those bastards back in Spero? Michael was extremely lucky not to be killed by them when he first got here. Most likely had a run in with them while there too.

Is there a way to know which of those in the cities need more help defending themselves than others?

The only cities that seem to have people living in them are Discedo and Dissimulo. Spero's pretty deserted now.

There's no set pattern that I noticed when it came to which area needs defending more: chip removals that end up having costly effects happen in both cities or when some bizarre event occurs, there's really not a place where it's less likely to happen.

I mean individually. In the marines we have partners for a reason. The biggest safety in this place isn't going to be trying to prepare for the unexpected. It's having automatic backups in place.

Assuming we still have enough people to run patrols, there's also less point to patrolling areas with strong civilians who regularly clean out monsters as they carry out their own business. [Aka: Marco, Brook, Tatsumi.] Whereas someone who doesn't have their chip out and isn't a fighter back in their world is going to have a much tougher time getting around safely so it'd make more sense to focus our attentions on places like that. Likewise; especially concentrated around the resources as it's needed for us, and bait for monsters alike.

A good majority of the people you've mentioned seem to be located in Discedo. I'm the only one in Dissimulo doing the patrolling for now.

Hopefully there will be some who want to pitch in and keep the towns safe.
