01 [Video/Action Discedo]

[The video feed clicks on to reveal a man with fiery pinkish red hair trying his best to work the contraption, while a dragon sits next to him looking rather bored.]

This certainly isn't a poke-gear is it? Do you think this is how it works Dragonite?

[It seems to turn it's head to nod at him, but does little else, apparently on the look out for something.]

Well then, to anyone receiving this message, I am Lance of the Indigo League Elite Four. I woke up here finding myself with two thirds of my pokemon missing, and this device which I assume was left here by whoever is responsible. Whoever has done this, know that I will not tolerate any theft, and I especially do not appreciate being kidnapped here for whatever nefarious purpose.

If anyone knows anything about these thieves and kidnappers, I would appreciate answers so that I may teach them the true meaning of justice. I do not know where I am, or what has been done here, but I intent to find out.

[He nods solemnly at the device before turning off the device, apparently having managed to figure out how it works to a degree.]

[Lance turns to his companion once more. The dragonite then smiles, waving at England on the communicator]

Dragons are truly the most incredible beings alive.

They're definitely right up there! [Wouldn't say they're more incredible than cute fairies or unicorns but they're still pretty incredible!!] Ah, hello, dear- did you say his name was Dragonite? Hello, Dragonite.

[Dragonite is beaming at the devise and seems to want to take it from Lance's hands to play with it.]

Haha! Come now Dragonite, I still need that! [Lance playfully rubs the dragonite's head, taking the device back from him.] He can be a bit of a handful sometimes, but he's one of the closest friends I've ever had.

Now, what is your name then?

Magical friends really are the best kind, aren't they? Very devoted and amusing. [Smiling fondly at Dragonite (and I guess Lance too)]

I'm not sure if I'd exactly call them magical... although I guess in many respects they actually are.

[Giant winged reptiles that breathe fire, or can summon meteors? Yeah, pretty magical Lance.]

England is it? That sounds a bit familiar...

You've likely seen my figure on a map before, at the very least. [Such an attractive and shapely island.]

Oh? I'd think I'd remember seeing... [Such a curvy and fine looking figure.] Ah! You must be one of the nations Marco spoke about! I wasn't sure if there were any female nations or not.

[Sexiest island off the coast of Europe.] Yes, dear, I'm the nation of England, representing the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Most nations are actually female- [knows why he might think otherwise but damnit her world is the original one in her mind]- at least in my corner of the world. We mostly have the boys here, though.

Hmm... I guess that makes a bit of sense with the motherland and all that.

[He chuckled slightly at his half joke.]

I wonder why most of the nations here are male though.

Hardly. It's merely complicated and uninteresting. You should talk about Dragonite some more instead.

[That earns a soft chuckle from Lance.]

Hah, if I talk anymore about my dragonite, I'm sure his ego will become impossible to manage.

[Dragonite seems to disagree as he pokes Lance in irritation as Lance continues to chuckle.]

There's nothing wrong with confidence where it's due. He's absolutely charming.

[ She would hold a similar opinion if he was burning down a small, non-English village, so it doesn't mean much.]

He is kind of charming when he wants to be, which seems to be the case around those who point it out to him. Admittedly though he is the greatest of the dragons I have ever raised, rivaling the power of some of the most legendary of pokemon.

Since you seem to like him so much, perhaps you'd like to ride him sometime?

[Too bad that he can't breathe fire while chipped.]

I don't think he'd really mind too badly. He's strong enough that he can handle a couple of riders, and you look relatively light so it shouldn't be too much of a problem for him. Besides, if you do go for a ride with me and my Dragonite, you could show me the layout of Discedo. I'm still relatively new here, and we can cover the length of the city quite quickly in air.
