22nd Dream [Accidental Video]

 [The feed turns on to show a darkened room, the small light from the communicator showing that it was actually a bedroom, given the faint outline of a dresser and some books scattered on top of it. There was nothing unsettling about the scene but maybe someone's device had turned on by itself...otherwise someone would be greeting the network by now...

Well, there was a greeting alright: someone slightly moaning off to the side. A creaking noise followed by a body shifting followed and it didn't sound pleasant to say at least.

Quickened breathing...

More moans...

The sound of names passing through their lips.

Those who are close and who she considers her friends and family...you'll hear your name clearly as her tone turns to panic.]

Nngh...no...please...

Not me...don't want this...

Get away...hurting...so...no...stay...haaa...!!! 

NO!!!!

[That last word is emphasized for a reason: she was having a terrible nightmare. Enough for the final thing the network hears is her screaming before it cuts out. Roommates...you might want to go check on her.]

[She hasn't noticed the communicator turning on nor did she hear Owen call out to her. The only thing that was heard on her end was some hiccuping and sniffling, lost in her own thoughts.]

[He can hear her and he tries to stay as calm as possible...it didn't sound like she was being attacked but he wasn't positive.]

[It's another few minutes but there's shifting noises. Sora speaks up but her face can't be seen. Her voice is in between hiccups and waivering.]

[ There's something just slightly more hurried in Ange's voice than usual. ]

[Only thing she can hear is sniffling and hiccuping on her end. Yep, hasn't noticed the communicator yet.]

[ voice ]

[ It's almost frustrating to be a city away, yet she doesn't want to force the girl to the communicator either, but.. ]

Hey, Sora! Are you alright?! [ in the end, that's more important to know. ]

[ voice ]

[There's a small gasp, signaling that she did indeed hear her. Cue more shifting.]

...Ange-chan? What-? What happened?

[ voice ]

... Nothing happened.. I think. [ Right? She's fine - she peeks out of a window, and nothing is going on outside either, so.. ]

Your feed turned on just now.

[ that should serve as enough of an explanation for her, at least. ]

[ voice ]

I'm sorry, it must've done it on its own.

[It was something that wasn't supposed to be broadcast.]

[ voice ]

[ screaming, making sounds of pain-- okay, no, Ange isn't going to mention it in that much detail since she does have some tact hidden beneath layers of deadpan. ]

You sounded like something was wrong.

[ voice ]

...nightmare. Really bad one.

[Yeah, it was wrong. Killing people is bad.]

[There's no reply, just some sniffles and hiccups.]

[He tries again.]

...Sora.

[Audio]

[Squeaking can be heard. She was unaware that her communicator had turned on during that nightmare and thought he was calling for some other reason.]

Kresnik-san? What's wrong?

[Audio]

The communicator caught your yelling.

[Audio]

[Turned on its own. Great. This is what she really needed. Did it catch her calling out to her friends? How much did it record?]

...what did I say?

[Audio]

...You wanted something to stop.

[Audio]

[dreamsonwings]

[In other words: everything. Even better. He's the last person she wanted to contact her right now...someone really hates her, don't they? When she speaks, it's shaky for a bit.]
