[She's new, obviously, and looking a little distressed as she tries to figure out the communicator well enough to make some use of it. Sitting down by the shipyard, her blonde hair is tied back in a messy ponytail, trying to keep it from getting in her face as she tries to figure out what's going on here.]
Excuse me... [A good start, right? Polite.] I'm a recent arrival to this place and would appreciate any information I could be given on it. It's not quite right for anywhere I know of home.

Anyway, there's some other things you should know. Death ain't a permanent state of affairs here, not for anyone. Human, country, vampire, or otherwise. Can be really good or really unfortunate depending on who bit the dust.
And fog? You gotta be real wary of that. It could just be normal mist... but it's almost certainly a signal for bad things to come. And I mean really bad. That's saying something considering a lot of days around here can be bad days.
Let's see, what else... my embassy is on Marshall Street – the apartments, so if you're a U.S. citizen, that's the place to be! 'Course there's others in there too, other countries and some trolls and once there were talking turtles too.
