I don't know much about taking them out though a doctor in Dissmulo had taken it out for me.

For me there were some pretty heavy....side effects that happened. It probably varies person to person though how it happens...

The chips basically stop people with powers from using them. The scientists probably track us with them, too. [ he's not as paranoid as he used to be, so that's just a fact of it now ] And you get pretty sick when you get them taken out. But then you're not getting tracked and you can do stuff again, so everybody wants them out.

Well, that's all I really know. The chips might do other stuff, but I don't know about that. There's a bunch of other doctors who know stuff about them- one of them's called, uh, Cube, I think.
