Marco on the other hand, grabs a piece of chalk and makes a hopscotch set out in the middle of the most open non-plant infested piece of pavement he can find. And then of course he shows off, because when you can fly and do backflips like nothing, hopscotch is really easy.]

It's a long story. I wanted to give you some sort of ambition to keep you going here, and I never found it. We never found it. For awhile you were okay with being captain of the ship and looking over the crew in Spero, but this place does that. Sort of takes away people's purposes I guess. I don't know.

[After Marco finishes, he just sighs and looks at the ground.] I think... that it's easy for that to happen to me if I don't have an ocean. Don't feel bad, it's just... really hard for me.

Marco... I'd be happy to just be alive. And see you and Luffy and whoever else I made friends with. Sure, it'd suck to be stuck like that, but you guys... you'd help me get through it.
