Can't be tamed! // 4th Wall [Video &/or Action]
[You know normal people when things get them down drink, carouse, carry on, lock themselves in a tower and cry for ten years... Okay well maybe not "normal" but people other than Marco do that. Marco on the other hand, grabs a piece of chalk and makes a hopscotch set out in the middle of the most open non-plant infested piece of pavement he can find. And then of course he shows off, because when you can fly and do backflips like nothing, hopscotch is really easy.]
Oi oi, for the life of me I can't remember if there's a rhyme that goes with this, eh?
[Yes, completely showing off with a few backflips.] Anyway, someone want to come play with me?
[Feel free to mock him, yell at him for showing off, try to push him over... you know whatever.]

Regardless, she just looks kind of lost and a little bit hopeful, not frightening at all~!]
Have I gotta ghost's chance of getting some help in this place or not? Look, I'd hate to interrupt your game and all, but if you have any idea where I am, that'd be totally clawsome and we could maybe play some games together after, okay?
Clawesome, eh?
Welcome to Fortuna, Miss. It's a shitty place, but it could be worse. Probably. I'm Marco, and the odds of you getting out are about 50/50 I'd say. Normally I'd argue impossible, but people disappear and come often enough that patterns are meaningless.
[1/2; video]
That may or may not be why I thought she'd be perfect to throw at Marco. :3]Nice to meet ya! Oh, so the place is called Fortuna? Oops.
[She thought it was someone's name when she heard it before...
Still, the fact that this Marco guy seems friendly and, even better, not scared of her makes her grin.]
Hey, nice to meet you, Marco! You're creepy-cool for helping a ghoul out.
[2/2; video]
That... does not sound good.
I gotta get back to my folks! I've got family and friends back home... my parents are gonna tear up the neighbourhood looking for me! I can't just stay here. I bet they don't even know I'm here..
Impossible how? If it's just how far away it is, a little moonlight's all I need and I could probably run home! I'm freaky fast, you know, and I could make it...! Could'a been captain of the soccer team, if I wanted. [For all the proud boasting, she still looks worried. The little tremor in her voice and the nervous twitching of her ears give her away.
This lost little wolf just wants to go back to her pack.]
Right, the world is Fortuna. And that's what makes it relatively impossible to get back. You can't get there by running.
On the bright side, they won't know you're missing, because eventually you will get sent back as if you were never even gone at all, no time will have passed, and usually people don't even remember being here at all.
Sorry I can't help you out more, eh? Missing family is certainly the worst part of being here. Even more than the fake deaths and weird tortures this place tries to devise.
[1/3; video]
Can't get there by running? Oh, boy.
Well, his later words do give her some comfort! While simultaneously confusing her more.] They won't know? Heeeey, is this like one of Cleo's weird cursed artifacts that mess up the flow of time?
Well, if I'll be back like nothing happened, that sounds great! It'll just be like one long, weird dream. [She raises her head confidently, but then blinks in surprise at the "fake deaths and weird tortures" part.]
[2/3; video]
What was that about fake deaths and weird tortures?
I really hope that us being here as some sort of cosmic playthings for Fortuna isn't what you're getting at.
[3/3; video]
This wolf isn't going to take it lying down like a dog! No offense to dogs.
You know where the people in charge are, right, Marco? Lead me to 'em! They just got themselves an appointment with my claws.
[... if only it were that easy, Clawdeen.]
Ah hang on... [Holds up fingers to tick off the points.] Not sure who Cleo is, but yes, time is messed up and you could view it as vacation.
Unfortunately cosmic playthings is an accurate summation and if I knew where the ones responsible were there would be a lot more people who want to be here, here. Actually, given the day I'm having, that's not true. It's kind of complicated right now. [Apologetic grin.] Sorry.
Oh.
Fangtastic.
[The unamused expression says it all, really, although the sarcasm's a nice touch.] Well, some time away from home might be nice. It'd keep my little bro off my heels— he just lost his werepuppy teeth and thinks everythin' is for gnawing on— and it'd keep Howleen out of my fur for a while too. Doesn't mean I gotta like the ones in charge, though. They've still got a lot of nerve...
Oh, Cleo? Cleo's Captain of the fearleading team back home. Being the daughter of the Pharaoh of ancient Egypt's got her convinced she's queen of Monster High. She used to be a royal pain in the tail, but she's chill now. Even if she's still gotta call the other students her "LOYAL SUBJECTS" and preface things she says with "YOUR QUEEN COMMANDS" blah-blah-blah. [In place of scare-quotes, she raises her hands and wiggles her claws, while rolling her eyes. She doesn't sound as bothered as she does amused.]
She's got a habit of sneaking away with cursed artifacts and trying to use 'em to get her way at school. It usually backfires and ends up cursing her.
So, Marco. What about you? Got folks back home? I take it you've been here long... maybe we could chat after playin' some hopscotch?
Siblings can be a bit crazy, eh? Though I'm glad the most mine ever do is pile up on me. Ones made of diamond so anything else could get weird.
And aye, the ones in charge are more or less assholes. Except Whaza's kind of cool. He doesn't seem to care for the others though. [Shrug.]
That sounds unpleasant... curses I mean.
And aye, I've been here about a year and a half. Though if you get me started on all my siblings, I could talk your ear off forever. I have 1600 of them, and they're all a little nuts. [Nope, completely normal compared to Marco.]
Whaza? You met one of those guys? What're they like?
Yeaaah, the curses can be, sometimes they're just funny, but still— 'spose that's why they're called "cursed artifacts", you know, but it takes a lot to get through to Cleo sometimes.
A year and a half sounds like an awfully long time... did you make any friends here?
Love your fur— whoops, that'd be hair, right? Like I was saying, it's really creepy cool! You got style.
Wha— 1600, are you for real? Wow, you just might be the first person I've met who wasn't a werewolf with as many siblings!
Cleo sounds fascinating.
And aye, I have a tone of friends here. Even found the love of my life here, eh?
[Grins instantly.] Why thank you, I'm quite enamored with your own flair. The collar and jacket are Fangtastic~
[Another laugh.] I'd be surprised if you met anyone with that many siblings before. Usually I tend to think I have the biggest family possible, eh?
Cleo's... well, she's Cleo. Coincidentally, speaking of 1600, one of my best friends since, like, forever recently turned that many years! She's a vampire. I just thought that was a creeperiffic coincidence!
Really? Sounds ghoulishly cool! Whoever it is sure is lucky... [She smiles, but then looks thoughtful.] Say, if you go back, doesn't that mean you'll have to leave them behind...?
[Did you just pay her a compliment and using her slang? Oh, boy, she likes you already. She beams right back at him.] Hey, thanks!
Hehe, you definitely have a right to! Well, unless I get to count my pack as extended family. I don't mean to brag, but the wolf pack is massive. Are you a normie? Never met one as chill as you are. You didn't howl up a storm about me being a monster at all!
Whoa, that is a pretty incredible coincidence! 1600... not too many of that age around here. Except for some of the countries.
And aye. He went back first, but I'm going to find him again so neither of us have to be lonely.
You're welcome. I'm not honest often, but when I am, I like to make it worth it.
I'm a phoenix actually. Though one of my closest allies was a "monster." [Air-quotes.] Little Oars Jr. was about 300 feet tall. Pretty damn big, eh?
[1/2; video]
Countries? Never met a living country before... and considering where I go to school, that's no easy feat!
[That's sad to hear, but, she gives him an encouraging smile.] I'm sure you'll find him eventually! Bet he's itching to see you again too. I know I would, if I were lucky enough to have a somebody like you~!
You're a phoenix? Really? Oh, wow, I've never met one of those before either!
Woaaaah, that is huge!
[2/2; video]
[She blinks, cheeks colouring, her ears perking for a moment before going down as she looks embarassed.]
H-hey, is there anything to eat around here? I never got to have breakfast!
[She looks around.]
Living countries, yup. My boyfriend is one. Japan, if you know the place.
[Laughs and rubs the back of his neck.] Why thank you. I think I might be pretty one of a kind on the phoenix thing. If there are others, they're hard to find.
I'm not sure what you like for food, but I can probably help you catch something. Fish is pretty easy, but there are mad cows and ah other things...
[video; God, that icon's so cute. ;3;]
Japan, huh? My vampire friend Draculaura really loves the Gothic Lolita stuff they make over there!
What's your favourite thing about being one, if you've got a favourite, anyway?
Fish's good! Any kind of meat. Raw's just fine... hey, I think I caught the scent of something! [She sniffs eagerly at the air.] I could use some help with this place, so if you're sure you won't mind, try and keep up~!
Yeah? Gothic Lolita huh... I'm sure he'd be please to hear that.
Oh gosh... favorite thing about being a phoenix is just flying. No doubt about it. That's extra rare in my world. Only six devil fruit users in the whole world. Though I'm the only phoenix.
I think I can keep up, what with the flying and all. Try not to eat friends though, eh? No chocobos.
[Video; ^_^ ... wonder if it's night time. oxo Moonlight'd help her go faster!]
Yeah! And she's been collecting clothes for centuries, so it's gotta be something freaky fab to catch her eye!
Thought that might be it! Flying sounds awesome.
Alright, but you better hurry up and tell me what a chocobo is or I might catch one! Haven't got wings for flying, but these paws sure can hustle!
Flying is awesome.
A chocobo is a big yellow bird. What kind of thing are you smelling?
[Judging by the odd view he's getting of just her nose poking over the bottom of the screen and of course that thick hair, it seems like she's decided to carry the communicator in her teeth.
All she needs is to run out to where the moon's light can shine more fully on her and she'll start running so fast, the video blurs before showing nothing but gloomy streaks of grey and the occasional flashes of night sky smeared with the green of treetops when she leaps over rubble or other obstacles in her path, although she moves too quickly for the camera to focus on anything to be certain of what it's recording.]
Smells like a pig! And unless pigs here are yellow and have wings, I'm guessing that's what I'm gonna have!
... wait, I think I smell rabbit too. [She stops when she lands, claws latching onto the side of a tree.] It's coming from the same direction too! [Somebody's still unfamiliar with the weird mix-and-match critters that live here, apparently.]
[Just keeps hanging on, watching her in action.]
Okay, yeah those are fine. Have at, eh.
Heh, thanks for the compliment! [Another leap to the side.] But I'm fickle—
[She lands close to the ground, then everything's a blur again as she races straight ahead.] I don't do well in classes—
[She suddenly veers off from her path to hide behind a tree.]
Unless I think they're worth it.
[She stops talking and goes very still and quiet, hiding in the shade provided by a tree, judging by the view. She steals a glance around it, then runs quickly to secure her prey, which barely manages a surprised squeal before her claws pierce it. Didn't seem like she had much trouble!]
Eh, hunting's kind of a messy way to start a day, but hey. A wolf's gotta eat. [Rather casual, that tone. She bends down to drop the communicator beside her, to avoid dirtying it with her hands.]
You don't have a problem with blood, do you? Just making sure. I got a friend who faints at the mention of it.
