[Hopefully by now, most people on Fortuna have somehow received a prettily wrapped package containing four different varieties of home-made mooncake outside their doorstep. Those within Discedo had them hand-delivered; everyone else...hope they made it...]

Hey everyone! I know things have been really crazy recently, but if you have a chance [pause] and are in someplace where it's safe to do it [pause...], you should definitely go outside and take a look up at the moon! If you squint really closely, maybe you'll see Chang'e ( 嫦娥), the moon goddess who lives there, or the Jade Rabbit making medicine!

[A soft, kind of wistful laugh] At least, that's what I would say if we were at home...

Anyway, I hope all my packages made it safely, but even if it's not the same moon, you can definitely still eat the mooncake! There's 4 kinds: lotus-paste, red bean, green tea, and chocolate! Just for variety.

I included egg-yolk in a few of them, but you don't have to eat it if you don't like it.

[Oh wait...] Yeah, and I guess it's China's birthday tomorrow too.

Oh, and I don't care if you changed to simplified, you're still going to have to get all your greetings in traditional from me! [Yes, Taiwan did just stick her tongue out in the video. How mature.]

Anyway, how have you been? Things have been pretty weird, right?

Oh, yeah. Not like things aren't always weird around here, but still, haha. Ange and I switched bodies in that whole incident a couple weeks ago- that was pretty awkward.

Yep. [ he laughs a bit ] It was really awkward, but Ange and I are pretty good friends, so it turned out alright.

[Sigh of relief - Taiwan you weren't even involved?!] It just...seems like such a weird thing to know about your friends...even if you're really close...

[ oh yeah awkward. he scratches the back of his head ] Yeah, I...tried not to think about that stuff too much, haha.

Man, it was confusing enough trying to figure out whether or not we should call my body hers and the other way around. At least her cat's a pretty good distraction.

Yeah, her name's Bern. She's really annoying, but we've gotten used to her. [ he looks a bit contemplative ] We couldn't really tell if she knew anything, though. But she did seem a little confused.

Cats are supposed to be pretty smart, right? Maybe she really could tell... But I guess they're not really equipped to deal with that either, huh. Switching bodies...

Yeah, we didn't look like different people...and I guess we didn't, like, smell different or any of those other things animals can tell.

Well, maybe there are other ways they can tell too! Like um...like a sixth sense?

Oh yeah, that's what I was thinking too. But I always figured they had that just 'cos their sight and smell and all that were better.

...I don't always understand animals sometimes, it's kind of spooky.

I know, right? It's kind of creepy to think about, actually. Maybe they know all this awful stuff about the world that we don't, haha.

Like cats being able to see spirits and things like that...

Oh, like animals being able to sense when ghosts are around? I've heard of stuff like that.

Yeah! Kind of like how black cats and witches always seem to go together!

Oh, those are called...familiars, right? Maybe that's why they were created. 'Cos animals can be so weird.

Eheh, yeah, maybe! I kind of wish England or Germany were here for me to ask... I don't know as much about these things in European mythology...

Oh, we learn about that stuff in class all the time. They're supposed to be demons that witches have with them.

Wel, we learn the stories. But we've got whole classes on that, yeah! My school's...weird like that.
