( Yuki's communicator is currently on the floor and broadcasting a little girl sitting in the shade covered up holding a plush bunny. She is currently crying and looking down at her bunny. )

O-Okasama....Okasama....Mama. Where are you? Why did you take me away from Otosama and Oniisan?

( She's crying softly but enough to be heard.

Small footfalls mix with the light crying until another set of legs pass the screen. As the other child crouches, it becomes obvious it's a younger Tatsumi. His face doesn't show much, except a tinge of boredom as he sighs. )

Let's go.

( He offers Yuki a smile before tugging on her sleeve. It becomes clear that the girl crying is a younger Yuki. She looks up at him and stops crying; a sad face still on her. Yuki grabs what she thinks is another toy (the communicator), then gets up and grabs his hand tightly. )

Let's go find your mom.

( Yuki nods. )

Her name is Juri Kuran...she has long curly hair...and hates rain.

[is he mimicking her? Who can say.]

No, no, you don't smell like a vampiwe.

[bitey]

[He smiles more.]

That's 'cause I'm a person!

[but now he's curious what she smells like. Without warning, he'll stop and begin sniffing her. He can smell something, but being that he isn't used to having a sensitive nose, he'll not register anything "strange" at the moment.]

( She looks at him. )

I didn't say you could smell me.

[bitey]

[It takes him a moment before he pulls away.]

Why not? It was fun!

And you got to smell me, so it was my turn.

I didn't smell you like that.

( Pout. She then waits a bit and does the same. )

[And he lets her, watching her closely.]

( She stops then does it again. )

A little fun. Mr. Bunny-Bunny wants to try it.

[bitey]

[He nods and smiles.]

He can sniff me.

Maybe at the store we can find him sunglasses too!

( She smiles and presses the rabbit against Tatsumi before hugging him. She looks up at his head and tries to reach for what she thinks are bunny ears like on her rabbit. )

[bitey]

Ya! His eyes must hurt too.

[The hug startles him a little but he settles into it. It's not until her hands touch his hair tufts does his eyes widen.]

What are you-

[His words break off as he smiles, tilting his head at how nice it feels, even though it makes him giggle a little]

( She rubs them and gently pulls on them. )

Hehe, I wish I had ears like that!

[bitey]

[He giggles some more.]

That's not my ears! That's my hair!

[But he doesn't really mind.]

It feels kind of funny. I like it!

Why is your hair like that?

( She stops pulling but keeps rubbing. )

[bitey]

I don't know.

[he frowns, even though she is rubbing.]

Maybe 'cause I'm weird.

[Tatsumi looks down.]

But I try not to be.

Silly you aren't weird!

( She stops and pats his head. )

I like you even if you're the first new person I've met in my life.

[bitey]

[He looks back up at Yuki, surprised.]

[Tatsumi smiles a little.]

You're my first friend I got who doesn't think I'm weird.

Hehe. I'm glad then!

( She hugs him. )

Do you think we'll be friends when I'm older?

[bitey]

[Tatsumi hugs her back, a bit awkwardly. She seems to like hugs, so he will try to like them too.]

We can be friends for long time! Forever and ever!

( She pulls away and hands him her bunny. )
