I'm… I am. I'm… I am. [ Sasuke is seen hunched over on his bed, eyes trained on a notebook scribbled with various English words he's studying and his mouth set in a grim line. Seems he's on contractions at the moment. ]

You will… You… ru. You ru. You'll… くそ! [ That notebook is suddenly flung away, his head sinking into his hands as Sasuke sighs out heavily. Such hot-headedness from a normally calm and collected person… Luckily for him that video cuts off before he can unwittingly reveal anything else he doesn't care to share. ]

[ She sees the feed but chooses not to answer it directly. Instead, a short while later, she'll knock lightly on his door, a cup of tea in hand. ]

[ Sasuke's not feeling particularly sociable so he ignores it at first, making her wait before sighing in frustration and pushing himself up. He pulls open the door a little roughly, staring at her evenly. ]

I...made tea, so I thought I'd see if you wanted some.

[ Not going to mention that she made the tea to try and cheer him up. Instead she just offers the cup, giving him a meek little smile. ]

[ His expression remains unchanged at first, overly critical in a way that he hadn't seemed as much lately. Hm. He raises his hand, finally taking the cup off of her hands. ]

こちゃ. [ Might as well teach her a word in Japanese while he's at it, since she'd been curious. Another gesture to the tea. ]

It was, actually. Quite a bit, but I managed somehow. I had to since that's an important language to learn when it comes to business in my world.

I hear you, if I didn't have to, I would not have learned English either. Even so, it's always good to know more than one language, at least where I come from.

Hn. And where I come from I've only ever heard one language spoken commonly. For me it's a waste of time, but what else is there to do in this place? Especially given that I don't know how long I'll have to stay.

I've apparently been here twice before, but I don't remember any of it, except for the Christmas I spent with my... girlfriend.

And I didn't even remember that until recently.
