[ So Marceline is just chillin in her house in Dissimulo. I would put an excellent description of the surroundings here to get a ~feel~ for the atmosphere but it's honestly too dark to see anything but Marceline's pale face illuminated by the communicator.

Speaking of which, she's got a new fashion statement. Damn can this vamp rock a mask. Don't worry, Turkey. She left a nice replacement for you. It's made out of paper mache and bears a beautiful face on it. Yes she is quite the trendy lady tonight. Even better, she looks to be in good spirits! ]

Like I was telling a friend of mine the other day, I can name a few kidnappers who are less accommodating than ours. I mean, c'mon! We've got room and board, there's never a dull moment, and now they're giving us a slice of home. Problem with one of my little gifts though: didn't really give me the equipment to play it on. Couldn't even send over Beemo, huh?

If any of you techies out there can manage a way to play this, I'm all for hosting a movie night. Gotta say, this has to be one of my favorite series of all time! It's a pre-Mushroom War thriller, really has you on the edge of your seat.

Well, yeah. People keep mentioning that and it's kinda weird. I never really thought about it but I guess it makes sense.

So enough about your pretty pink hair. [ for now ] This whole chip business... what's the procedure? Can't say I've been to the doctor since... well, ever!

It's not too bad. I have to get a few things set up before we can pull it out, but that won't take more than a few days even at worst. It's just a matter of cutting it out which can be kinda dangerous if we don't have the properly cleaned supplies.

That's the easy part. Afterward your powers are going to go a little haywire, so that's something you have to watch out for.

I'm not sure if the undead can even get infections, but better safe than sorry in this case, I guess.

About powers going haywire... that is a bit problematic. Any way to predict what could happen? I'd kinda rather not be stuck floating to the ceiling.

Guess the biggest concern would be floating. I'd really rather not drift off into space.

Hmm... It might be possible to force what power goes out of whack, if you're worried about all of them. See if we can focus it on making you do one particular thing. It would be kind of an experiment, but I'm sure I could help you, if you wanted.

You pink-haired girls and your experiments. [ she laughs fondly and shakes her head. ] Hey, whatever will keep me from floating away into the planet's orbit! So you got a plan on how this'll work, or are we just gonna have to wing it?

Right now I have no idea, but I'm sure I'll think of something. I'll just need to get set up for a regular chip removal and then search out some things that might help keep your powers under control.

It shouldn't take long to do that. Anytime after a week you can stop in and we'll get started with this.
