-The video is having a lot of trouble focusing, but some people might pick up the transmission as coming from Mariner High. The camera darts about, the owner taking in everything in a hurry. What's more, was who the transmission was coming from at all... Finally, she speaks in Japanese.-

[Flandre gently sets the fairy down.]

Be nice to Cirno!

[The rabbits--at least, the visible ones--clear away from the fairy at first, beady red eyes glowing occasionally.

But one comes back and snuffles curiously at Cirno's ankle, like a cat. Its whiskers tickle.]

Wow these are way nicer than Tewi's... -She kneels, offering up her hand to the critter.-

[Flandre's already got one in her arms.]

They don't like humans so much; they kept trying to bite Marco.

[Cirno's hand has attracted the attention of at least three; a lot of tickly whiskers here.]

They're not quite rabbits, though they were mostly, and not quite cats either. Cube called them demon rabbits.

[One shoves the others out of the way to wiggle its head under Cirno's hand.]

So they're youkai rabbits?

Or...something.

[One of the rabbits that was shoved to the side seems to...pout. At least its ears flatten back to its head and the creature puffs up slightly.

...then it jumps at the one that is getting pets like a tiny fuzzy bulldozer and starts a bit of a fight.]

Oh, no--Cirno! Don't try to touch them when they do that, they bite. And have big teeth.

[Like nerfed Killer Rabbits]

Whoa... I guess they really are youkai...

[Flandre chitters.]

I guess so.

[The one rabbit that was not involved in the scuffle rises up on its haunches, to watch--and then springs for Cirno's shoulder without much warning.]

-Which is enough to put the fairy off balance and send her tumbling down.-

Cirno!

[Though the instant the fairy falls over she's practically swarmed with small white puffballs.

Flandre almost drops the rabbit in her arms and does her best to remove the other rabbits carefully so she can pick Cirno back up, but being careful is hard. So it takes awhile.]

-All's well in the end, as Cirno seems to have fallen into a giggle fit.-

[Oh, good. She can stop fretting now.]

[...or more like "WHAT IS THIS STRANGE CREATURE MUST INVESTIGATE", but either way.

Flandre lifts one off of Cirno's face.]

This is so cool! How did they all get here?

I don't know. There used to be two, and then there were three little ones that got bigger, and then they broke out of their cages all the time and now there's lots.

Cube gets all funny and stammers a lot when I ask him, so I stopped.

Or...like fairies! But not blue, or like Cirno.

[Now Flandre's scooping the rest of the little puffballs off of Cirno. WANT TO HUG THE FAIRY. The rabbits were in the way of hugs.]

Only Cirno is Cirno.

[Flandre giggles softly, squeezing Cirno tightly.]

Yes...Cirno is special...


I missed you so much.

[...but with her eyes closed like this, her imagination could take over. It didn't seem like any time at all had passed, and she held Cirno in her arms like she had the first time.

Her wings had tented around the fairy, as if to keep her safe, and the vampire nuzzled at her face again with a contented chirping sound.]
