Trust me. It isn't.

She doesn't just grant wishes. She twists them. And she hides and waits for people to make wishes without meaning just so she can grant them and ruin people's lives.

[And then there's a quick flash of memory. Being pinned against the wall by a large teenager. A glowing ghost rising out of the human and discarding the body without any concern for it. The ghost leaning in, still pinning him by the neck, and whispering. "I'm going to make your world into a prison you can't escape."]
