[Hopefully by now, most people on Fortuna have somehow received a prettily wrapped package containing four different varieties of home-made mooncake outside their doorstep. Those within Discedo had them hand-delivered; everyone else...hope they made it...]

Hey everyone! I know things have been really crazy recently, but if you have a chance [pause] and are in someplace where it's safe to do it [pause...], you should definitely go outside and take a look up at the moon! If you squint really closely, maybe you'll see Chang'e ( 嫦娥), the moon goddess who lives there, or the Jade Rabbit making medicine!

[A soft, kind of wistful laugh] At least, that's what I would say if we were at home...

Anyway, I hope all my packages made it safely, but even if it's not the same moon, you can definitely still eat the mooncake! There's 4 kinds: lotus-paste, red bean, green tea, and chocolate! Just for variety.

I included egg-yolk in a few of them, but you don't have to eat it if you don't like it.

[Oh wait...] Yeah, and I guess it's China's birthday tomorrow too.

祝你生日快樂，老師！ You're still old, by the way!

Oh, and I don't care if you changed to simplified, you're still going to have to get all your greetings in traditional from me! [Yes, Taiwan did just stick her tongue out in the video. How mature.]

Not that much! Well, I like to cook, and I like giving people presents so it's a win-win situation really...

[Nods.] So this is a tradition?

Yeah, it's around the harvest time back home, so we have these kind of cakes, and go out to look at the moon... A lot of people have outdoor cookouts like barbecues too, it's really fun!

Can't say I barbecued before, but it sounds like a swell event.

And I'll watch the moon tonight. [Maybe he should sketch it if possible.]

Make sure you eat the mooncakes at the same time! Well...maybe not all of them at once...

It's kind of nice being able to share traditions like this... I guess in October people in America usually have Halloween-related things, right?

Yes, usually I enjoy carving pumpkins. Though dressing up has become popular.

Dressing up is lots of fun! Japan does it all the time for conventions.

You dress up a lot too?

Y-yeah, a lot of times. I like making the costumes, and then showing off my work a little bit!

[Smiles.] Homemade things always have a better feel to them.

Hey, are you going to dress up as anything for Halloween?

Wasn't planning to, not a lotta material around here to spare.

Well, when there isn't enough stuff around, you just have to get a little creative, right?

[Lightly chuckles.] Got me there.

Not that interested in dressing up myself, but I don't mind helpin'.

We can see what everyone else thinks as it gets closer to Halloween, I guess!

Yes, and a celebration of tradition never hurts, even in places like these.

We can have candy, maybe, and pumpkin carving... Though I guess decorations don't really make much sense...

Should really ask America about it, he'd probably be pretty excited...

Hmm...I don't know! I actually arrived the day right after Halloween last year.
