[Hopefully by now, most people on Fortuna have somehow received a prettily wrapped package containing four different varieties of home-made mooncake outside their doorstep. Those within Discedo had them hand-delivered; everyone else...hope they made it...]

Hey everyone! I know things have been really crazy recently, but if you have a chance [pause] and are in someplace where it's safe to do it [pause...], you should definitely go outside and take a look up at the moon! If you squint really closely, maybe you'll see Chang'e ( 嫦娥), the moon goddess who lives there, or the Jade Rabbit making medicine!

[A soft, kind of wistful laugh] At least, that's what I would say if we were at home...

Anyway, I hope all my packages made it safely, but even if it's not the same moon, you can definitely still eat the mooncake! There's 4 kinds: lotus-paste, red bean, green tea, and chocolate! Just for variety.

I included egg-yolk in a few of them, but you don't have to eat it if you don't like it.

[Oh wait...] Yeah, and I guess it's China's birthday tomorrow too.

祝你生日快樂，老師！ You're still old, by the way!

Oh, and I don't care if you changed to simplified, you're still going to have to get all your greetings in traditional from me! [Yes, Taiwan did just stick her tongue out in the video. How mature.]

It's just interesting to see how people keep up traditions from back home even here.

A-ah well...what kind of traditions do you have from back home?

.. Huh? [ the question just came a little sudden.. ] I guess just Japanese holidays and all? That's where I come from.

Aren't there a lot of Japanese people here? At least, there used to be.

I think there are still a lot of Japanese people here... Compared to everyone else, I mean.

Makes you wonder what the scientists are thinking about when they're taking people from specific locations like that, huh?

Yeah, I guess I've been thinking about that...how they pick people... And everyone seems to be from a different world, even.

At one point I thought they would pick people they find interesting, but.. I've been here for years already and I don't see how they find me interesting in the slightest.

H-hey, I wouldn't say that! I mean...not that I know why they pick people. And 'interesting' can mean a lot of things...

Huh? Then what kind of thing would you think of when you think of an interesting person?

Well...I don't know. Everyone I've met here so far seems like an interesting person.

Ah, that explains it. Maybe you're one of the scientists then. [ she doesn't mean it, judging from the deadpan, but.. ]

[Taiwan is a bit credulous] N-no! I'm really not! Really!

Do you have any proof?

N-no... [She's fun to troll.] But I'm not one of the scientists! They brought me here a year ago-

But without proof it's a pretty flimsy excuse, right? You could just be lying to me.

Your chances in a court room would be awfully low, you know. Better never get caught for some sort of crime.

Hmm.. I guess I'll accept your excuse for now. [ there are limits to trolling.. although-- ] I'll make sure to keep an eye on you though from now on.
