Video [Leanne's chip removal post!]

[The communicator flickers on to show a little little standing in the midst of a small group of saplings, letting out chirps and whistles. A pair of fluffy-looking white wings adorn her back, folding as much she could against her back. She blinks at the communicator before drawing it close to sniff at it. What? Just what was this strange thing? She goes to poke the screen with a finger but with no success at figuring out just what it was. Finally though, the little girl speaks but not in English or any other familiar language, nope what she speaks is Ancient Laguz.]

I think that I might be lost? Has anyone seen my mommy or daddy? My brothers and where is my forest?... My mommy, where is my mommy? I want my momma.

I still don't like it.

.... Perhaps you father will come back. He will come back I know he will. As would my mommy and daddy.

[She shifts a little and give her a moment.... Another moment.... Just one more.... Annnnnd THERE! All of her feathers puff out giving her even more of a puffball appearance. Ah, so much warmer now. Too bad she just now almost looks like a pure white puff ball with a beak and talons.]

If you are my brother then you should call me by my name. The saplings say that they will do what they can until you arrive.

I hope so Leanne. I'll be right over, eh? Tell the trees thank you from me, I'm not sure they can hear me.

[And with that he zooms on over. Sparkly blue phoenix bro to the rescue! Don't mind his awesome jet effects. They are to match his equally awesome sparkles.]

[He switches a little to hybrid so he can put out the coat from a giant backpack and drape it over them both and take out the food he brought. But with that, back to fully phoenix and draping a big blue with protectively over her.]

[The sparkles man! They sparkle and dang! Are all phoenixes like that?! Leanne couldn't help but to let out a few squeals and happy chirps at the sight of the sparkly blue phoenix.

There is such a thing as a phoenix laguz! Even in her shifted form, she goes to let out giggles as he approaches and drapes and then feeds and then and then! Happy Heron princess is happy. She goes to sniff him a little before just snuggling against him. No eating yet, focus on getting warm again comes first.]

Are all phoenixes like you?! [Cause that was SOOOOOOO AWESOME!] Thank you, Marco. For coming and bringing me food.

[Happy blushes and maybe shows off a little more with extra sparkles. He knew sparkles were good for getting chicks. Even if literal baby bird chicks :|]

If I ever meet another one I'll let you know, eh?

And it's my pleasure Leanne. [Snuggles right back.]

[Hey, even fully grown chicks will be attracted to sparkles. She blinks at his words.]

There.... Isn't another one out there?

[That is terrible and she shifts back even during the snuggles and looks like she is gonna cry. It was bad enough that his daddy was taken from him but now knowing that he was the last one? She sniffs a little, trying her best not to cry cuz she is a big girl and big girls don't cry before just giving Marco the best hug she can manage in their position as well as a small kiss to his cheek.]

I am sorry....

[Yes. He knew his sparkles would get him all the chicks someday.]

[His eyes widen a little at her tears for him and he almost fiercely snuggles her, protectively and affectionate times a million. He definitely doesn't want to regret saying anything, but he wonders if he should have kept quiet.]

H-hey. It's okay, eh? I've got a great little sister like you and I have a lot of adopted beorcs and fishmen as family back home. Don't cry for me. [Snuuuuugggles.] I'm usually very happy and love my life, honestly.

[Part of him does envy the laguz of her world. But having them destroyed and struggling to be a survivor, that is also something he understands the pain of quite deeply. Not to mention, he really wouldn't trade his adopted family for anything, even a blood-related bird family.]

[All of them. He will become the envy of men everywhere.

Leanne lets out a few chirps at the fierceness of the snuggling. She continues to let the tears fall and sniffles quite a bit. She is trying Marco! Really she is not to cry but what you went through is so sad!]

But.... Your daddy was taken from you and you are still the last one of your tribe.... [She frowns a little but keeps on hugging him.] It's so sad that you don't have fellow Laguz family... I wish Mommy was here... She would have the perfect song for you...

[To best comfort him in her mind cause mommy's always have that special power. Though she does listen to him and the flood of emotions coming from his affections and snuggles and goes to take a deep breath. By Marco should know from her older self that this meant that she was gonna sing for him. It wasn't a Gildar or anything of that manner, but she just sings for him a small song that she remembers her mom and Rafiel singing for her, with her voice sounding like this.]

[He tries!]

Leanne, it's okay, I never had a Laguz tribe so--

[O-oh. That's really gorgeous ;; He's just melting and he's got no words for her just snuggles and tries to be manly and not wibble at all. You're making that really hard Princess!]

Thank you Leanne. So long as you and the brothers I do have look after me I'm sure I'll be okay, aye? [Okay maybe a few manly tears in his wing ;; guh.]

[He will! He just needs to believe and it will happen!

She finishes her song and wraps her arms around him as he just snuggles and not!cry. She is just trying to make you feel better, Brother!]

My family is lots better at singing then me. [She goes to just give his beak another kiss and nods.] I will do my best to look after you... And help you find your family again.

That is very hard to believe. [A soft phoenix grin.] I cannot imagine something more beautiful than that, eh.] [Happy phoenix blushes and nuzzles.]

I appreciate that Leanne, but so long as you're my little sister, then I have family right here too.

[She giggles at both his words and the nuzzles.] It's true! Mommy has the prettiest voice out of all of us, then comes daddy. But thank you, Marco. [BRB being forever happy that someone likes her songs. She giggles even more and smiles as much as she can.]

And I will stay by you. I promise! Besides, Daddy says that I shouldn't leave my families side no matter what so I am glad that I have a brother here!

Aye, your father is right, if it can be managed. So I'll stay with you and vice versa, eh? Until someone else can do my job better. It's a promise.

[She continues to let out a giggle and just goes to give him the biggest hug ever that she can currently manage.]

Poppa is always right. I don't think that there will be anybody better unless the bad Beorcs or traders got them too and sent them here. [Yup, she thinks that slave traders came and kidnapped everyone here. Including her. But she isn't scared at least not anymore.... Now that she has a brother here.]

They might, but it'll be okay, either way. I'll protect us all the best I can, okay? Promise.

[He's not completely sure what she means, so he can't dissuade her of the notion, just tries to make her safe and happy.]

Are phoenixes really that strong? [Cause whoooooa, only the Hawk clan can claim the title of being the strongest of the bird clans. Of course there never was a phoenix around to challenge that title.]

Definitely. I've fought a volcano in beorc form before, on the same day as an ice-man, and a beorc made of light.

There are some things even I cannot do, but I can do a lot.

A beorc made of light and you fought him?.... [And all those other things too? Okay, nevermind hawks, Phoenixes at least in her mind are now the official strongest clan out there and Leanne really couldn't help but to look at him now in sheer awe and wonder.]

Aye, he was the easiest because he didn't know what he wanted as much as the other two.

You would have think that he would have been stronger.

[But you know what? She is glad that he wasn't stronger because then her newest older brother wouldn't have become her bro and then she would have deal with everything all on her own.]

Don't you get tired remaining shifted for this long? [Okay, it seems like Phoenixes are totally the strongest tribe ever if he doesn't get tired from remaining as a bird.

BUT NEVERMIND THAT! Leanne just giggles, feeling safe within the sphare of saplings and with Marco. And because of that, she just reaches over to try and ruffle a few of his feathers, feeling them, still giggling.]

Should we play something or... [A small pout.] Do you think that it would be too dangerous to play with me too....

[Blinks and shakes his head.] No, I turn into this when I am tired. Makes me feel safer. How about you? Do you get tired?

[He grins happily.] I would love to play with you, what would you like to play?

[Like whoa! This type of thing is unheard of.] You have to be the strongest I have ever met. How does it make you feel safer? Me? I can't stay in my shifted form for too long without getting tired.... But I do like being in it and I do want to be able to stay in it longer.... But I usually fall asleep most of the time.

[She blinks and pauses as he answers.... Really he would actually like to play with her?! What? What is this?! She couldn't help but to let out a high-pitched squeal of joy, shifting back into the Heron puffball in an attempt to happy tackle him. Please excuse her sheer joy and happiness of the thought of having a playmate that she isn't responding to the latter question yet.]

[Tilts his head thinking about it.] Well, I usually switch to this form when I'm sleeping and during winter or rainy snaps, and that makes me sleepier, but I think I can fly around for hours a day carrying someone and not get too tired, eh. Then again, it's almost addicting, so the more time I spend like this, the more I want to and then switching back becomes less appealing.

[Laughs in amusement at her glee and picks her up to giver her a hug.] I'll take that as a yes.

You are really strong if you could stay shifted for all that time.... [Then he goes to mention flying and she does get a yearning look on her face.] I WANNA FLY TOO!.... But everyone keep on telling me that my wings are not ready yet.... [Poooout and very sad look on her face. She wants to be able to fly with her own wings one day.... Actually sooner the better.]

[She blinks and goes to giggle at being picked up and hugged and attempts to hug back in all of her white puffball-ness.] Thank you thank you thank you thank you!
