What is going on right now?  Have all the bombs been taken care of?  What kind of bombs were they?

[He pauses and winces again.  Conan hated this.  He should have been up at the sites himself and checking over the bombs.  The wiring and circuitry used could contain important clues.  Instead he was trapped here in the subway.  Every attempt to investigate the situation for himself had been blocked by his own injuries and the intervention of nearby adults.]

If you do hear anything of them I would like to take a look at them. The style and wiring can tell you a great deal about the psychology and motivations of a bomb maker.

From the method used, yes. The combination of riddles and the bombs. I've seen it before.

In that combination, yes. In the situation I saw before the bomber wanted to play with people. Wanted to give the illusion of a chance to his targets. It was a game, but a game with no chance of winning in his mind. Manipulation. If he gave a small chance of surviving and the targets were unable to stop him it reinforced his superiority.

Grandstanding was all part of the game.
