Okay, well, it... it looks as though we have it under control now. I can't.. [ He begins to mutter something, clearly trying to sort through his thoughts. A snuff and shuffle. He sighs as he combs his fingers through his hair. ]

Ah-ah... You, all.. all of you. If there's anyone still, well, affected by the pollen you should.. What I want to say is, if you're still bothered by the pollen we would... like to know. We didn't want this to happen; so we will... administer antidotes if you need more. I presume the hospital has already received the first package...

[ There's a silence. He's drumming his fingers rampantly on the desk. ]

Good then, I'll just.. wait. --Right; good.

((ooc; This is an open scientist post; the hospital DID receive a package a few days into the event with various said antidotes, as stated here, that definitely quelled any effects if need be. Anyway, feel free to comment to Kevin or talk amongst yourselves here.))

Well this is most interesting! I never thought I'd have the opportunity to actually speak to one of you. I was wondering if you might be able to do me a special favor.

So... you're one of the elusive scientists? So the plants were not in fact your doing? Does this mean you were also not responsible for the pie trees?

If you wouldn't mind terribly... I have so many things I've been meaning to ask you. Things like why you've brought us here, what do you get out of this, and perhaps whether or not you'd care to refute some of the theories I've drawn up about the lot of you.

I was wondering if you might be able to get me a piano. I've been meaning to write all kinds of songs, but my violin alone doesn't entirely suffice for my vision for certain songs. If I can have a piano, I might be able to produce much more music, and if you'd like I'd even write one for you guys.

... Some more Earl Gray tea would be nice too.

Is your plan to see if we will rebuild or jump start a civilization here?

[ her tone is flat, but her question is direct— he had said 'we didn't want this to happen', so it's clear enough that something unexpected took place. ]

( She says this half jokingly half seriously. )

[ A kind of pause as he nods a little and thinks. ]

We can, ah....

We'll see. [ He adjusts his glasses, looking down as he does so. His hand goes away and flicks a little. ]

We'll see? Please tell me your at least going to try at lying.

Plants... reproduce..! And... when that happens, well, there's pollen. [ Patiently said, albeit a bit unsure. ]

We'll see... that's the best I can offer.

Well if you really mean that then thank you. I know it must be hard to be hated, even if you do things that cause that effect, I just want you to know that if your really going to try then thank you.

[ More finger drumming.

Many, many kinds.

Rock, classical, happy, sad, drinking songs, children songs, all kinds of things. Name your preference and I could probably play it. I don't like anything like death metal though. Yohohoho!

My personal favorite tune goes something like this.

[Brooke pulls out his violin from his case, and begins to play Binks Sake, a song that goes like this]

I can play a much less melancholy version on the piano. So... if there is any kind of music you'd like me to play on the Piano if you do indeed provide one for me, don't hesitate to ask. It will also help me write new works too, if you're so inclined to see them. I was also thinking of writing a song for the wedding coming up, so this would go a long way towards that.

Can you at least tell me why you cannot answer my questions? If you are truly sorry about it... is it that telling me would disrupt your experiment in some way? Change a variable of some sort?

And umm... I'd like to say that I'm mad at you for putting a chip in me, and bringing me here... but, I'd also like to say... thank you... for the pies.

I would greatly appreciate it, thank you. If you like I can give you an example of something else I've written in the past too. I often consider myself an even better lyricist than song writer, but my tunes certainly have their moments too.

If you do decide to give me a Piano, could you perhaps deliver it to Marco's Pub? I figure that would probably be the best place for it.

[Ilyana lets out an audible sigh at that.] I was afraid you might say something like that.

They are good pies... I haven't been able to eat like that in a long time, so I am grateful for the pie trees. Did you make them yourself?
