Hello, I've been told to use this! I'm fairly certain it's some sort of communication device, although you can never be sure with alien tech, can you? I'm hoping I'm right, because otherwise I'd be talking to myself. Again. {He looks slightly sheepish about the last bit.}

Anyway, I'm looking for my friends, and I'd be really grateful if someone could tell me where they are! I mean, I'm sure they can take care of themselves, but I'd really rather know where they've got to. One has red hair and a temper to match and the other is probably following her like a puppy.

I'm the Doctor, by the way! That's what people call me, anyway. Not really sure why. I call me that too. Still not sure why.

In fact, it's happened to me before, loads of times. Well, maybe not loads, maybe just more like a few. Except I pretty sure it was more than three.

I always thought it was a country, not a planet. I assume we're on earth... oh hell... I'm not even sure of that much. Who knows?

Well... uh... it's not a very NICE place, whatever it is. It's rotting and decaying and we're basically left here to fend for ourselves.

There are some scientists in some kind of sick experiment or game. But, who knows if they're in charge or as trapped and lost as we are.

Then I got my chip out. My abilities when haywire and I threw up for about two weeks. Then, I got drunk again and...

There's a chip in you. If you have any powers or abilities, it's inhibiting them. It also lets them track you.

Yeeahh... me neither. But, with the chip in I was as good as. You'll find the same.

I can get put you in touch with someone who can help you get it out, if you want.

That would be best, yea. I don't know how the chip would effect me. Probably better to just take it out. And maybe study it.
