Alright. [And he goes to start making some. So, do you want Kresnik to witness Homura's memories first or vice versa?]

[He stopped suddenly as unfamiliar scenes started to play out in front of him. ...A young pink haired girl laid in a desolate land with an unusual item in her hand.

The soldier remained frozen in his spot as she started to convulse and scream. The black mist flew from the object and into the dark form above... he didn't understand what was going on.

Also, he wasn't paying any attention to the tea that was brewing.]

[As soon as the memory ended, Kresnik snapped out of his stupor and looked down at her. However, he still seemed a little disoriented.]

Ho...Homura? [He shook his head in order to regain his senses again.] ...I saw one of your memories.

_{[Oh, that doesn't sound good.]}

You... You did...? _{[She's almost afraid to ask.]} ... What did you see?

[He pauses for a moment as he reviews the scene in his head. Well, that's not going to be something he'll be forgetting.]

...A pink-haired girl lying in the water with a small object in her hand. [.....] She started to scream as a black stream shot up from it.

... When a Soul Gem becomes too dirty and tainted, it hatches into a Grief Seed. W-Witches aren't just beings that spread despair... Witches are a Puella Magi that has fallen into despair.

Kaname-san... w-we fought Walpurgisnacht together, but she used too much of her magic...

[He didn't quite understand the whole thing, but...]

[He wasn't quite sure what to say. It didn't seem appropriate to ask her what happened afterward. Also, that world seemed terrible... especially since young girls suffered like that.]

I spent half a year in the hospital due to my heart condition... I transferred to Mitakihara after I got out. ... I didn't have any friends back then; Kaname-san was my first friend. She and Tomoe-san... they saved me from a Witch.

Tomoe-san... she died fighting Walpurgis, and Kaname-san went to fight alone... but she died, too. S-So... So I made a contract with Kyubey- I wanted to redo my meeting with Kaname-san, and to be someone who could protect her, instead of being protected.

[He stayed quiet as he listened to her story. Tomoe... wasn't there a girl here by that name before?]

He says that he's leaving so that he can later protect her and everyone in the world... and that he wouldn't be lonely if she sings. Kresnik eventually stands up and starts to leave with the soldiers, giving one last smile to Yulie as she runs towards him.]
