[Sai is finally home from the exploration adventure. She wasn't happy for the fact that the letters were a lie and Ai wasn't there. She shouldn't have gone, she noticed the effects of something very wrong while sh was away. And why did she know just how much more she had left before whatever was wrong completely consumes her entire being?

"Heather" lets out a sigh from her bed in Eric's apartment along with some whimpers as her head was hurting a lot. She covers her eyes with both of her hands, letting out a few mumbles before speaking a bit more clearly.]

Stupid lies and stupid fake letters. Stupid trip and stupid scientist. Anyone have anything to help with head pain? Don't want much, just a little. Just a little bit. Thank you in advance.

I can find you if I know what you looked like. But I can also send my pet, her name is Terry. [Switches to video to show off the fluffy eevee that is currently licking one of Sai's fingers.]

[Sai finally removes a hand from her face to stare at the comm, trying to memorize Yuki's appearance. Both of Sai's own eyes were half blue/half-red.]

I-I'm sorry I've never met you before.

... It's alright. [Picking up Terry to cradle her to herself.]

Should I go to you or have you come to me?

( Yuki disconnects and then goes outside looking for Sai. )

[She goes to set her comm to the side before sitting up and slowly moving towards the door out of the apartment. She doesn't bother closing it behind her once she goes outside. Eric shouldn't mind this.... would he? Oh well, it's not they have anything important that they can steal. Terry doesn't leave Sai's side at all, playing around her feet.]

Hopefully, Yuki-chan can be here soon.

( Yuki walks around and spots her. She runs to her and waves. )

Hey! Can I ask you what you are? Are you a vampire?

[Sai blinks and perks up a little before tilting her head.]

I am sorry but I do not know. The only person that may know, he refuses to tell me what I could be. Why do you ask, Yuki-chan?

Yuki-chan is a bit too informal. I'd be more of a sempai from the looks of it.

Oh to see how you will be feeding from me. If you have fangs you can just bite me! I guess I'll just cut myself. Do you have a knife?

Wouldn't biting you hurt though? I can make myself have the fangs if it wouldn't hurt you.

[Though she blinks at the latter question and holds up a hand to shift a finger into a small blade.]

If you are sure. Probably the wrist and it might be a good idea to go inside.

[Sai goes to smile as much as she can and nods her head.]

This way, sempai.

[She goes to lead her at once to the living room, taking a quick glance around to make sure that neither Eric or Ammy was around. She really didn't want any of them to see her drinking/eating a person's cells.]

( The Pureblood follows and stands in front of Sai and holds out her arm to her. )

[She reaches up to take the offered hand, idly changing a finger into a blade to make the first small cut before shifting some fangs and biting down.

( Yuki whined a bit and stood there still and erect. )

[Sai hears the whine and winces a little at that. She didn't really want to hurt her and only drank a little of the vampire's blood.]

A little. It doesn't hurt as much now. Thank you.

( She only whined because she wasn't used to being bitten there anymore. )

( Yuki pulls away her hand and unbuttons her dress and lets the top part fall enough so that her neck is showing. )

[Okay this is totally different! Sai wasn't sure about drinking more of her blood. This was already something that only a monster would do but.... It did make her feel better. Plus what if Eric sees her like this?...]

Are you sure? Will you be okay?

Yes I'll be fine.

I don't have anything on me, but I'll stop by the hospital.

[Steve is definitely worried about her.] Try to rest, Miss Heather.

[Oh boy, Steve is gonna go to the worst place in the world for her? Okay, she is gonna feel a little guilty about that.] Thank you.

[He nods.] When did this pain start?

[That was a relief, she at least now knows what her name is.]

Around a month ago, each day the pain kept on getting worse.

[Steve frowns a little, mostly out of concern.]

Did you tell anyone? [He doesn't like the thought of a young girl enduring pain for a month like that.]

[She sees that frown and by this time Terry the eevee goes to start licking Sai's hand.]

I didn't. Didn't think it was important enough to let anyone know and some days were not as bad as others.

[She goes to chuckle a little at that and slowly nods her head.]

[He smiles at the promise.]

I'll bring medicine within the hour.

[She giggles at the smile. Too bad it's a promise that she won't be able to keep.]

[He nods and ends the feed. Do you want to end the thread or go to action?]

[Eric hears her sigh, and the question. He comes to the door, a worried expression on his face.]

What was that? Are you ok?

(She remains in the same position, not really wanting to move.)

My head really hurts, don't know why either....

(Five more days, what could or should she do? She goes to slowly sit up, her eyes changing backi and forth between red and blue.)

[Eric sees her eyes and sucks in his breath hard. He knows she's strange, not human. Still, that doesn't matter.]

Come here... [He pulls her close, holding her.]

You're... going to be ok.

(Before, she would have been more aware of he uncomfortableness to her abilities. She just remains limp in his arms and nods her head slowly.)

It still hurts.... Hurts so much.

Shh... Shhh... I know.

[He tries to stay strong, comforting. Really? He's just afraid.]

I knew it was a hoax all along...
