It has come to my attention that our time here together has grown into something much more than what we have at home. Perhaps it is a forbidden sort of love, but I believe that is what causes it to burn so strongly! Forgive me if this is far too sudden, but I will wait as long as it takes for Hong Kong-san to be ready for such a thing. Please contact me as soon as this message is received. We do not have to stay in a place such as this with so many limitations...

As Japan's communicator sends this message out, he'll just be on a walk and checking out Ace's old warehouse. Feel free to run into him along the way or come find him, otherwise he does have his comm with him!]

[Laughs at his face and snuggles happily, with a chirping cry and sings to him in phoenix a certain song Japan once sang him.]

[Oh, he blushes at that, burying his face even more. AT LEAST MARCO CAN'T SEE HIM when he's snuggling this close yes.]

[Croos happily and snuggles back, flying around and looking for panda food.]

[It's after a while that Japan pets Marco and tries to sit up a bit.]

Doesn't this tire Marco?

[Mumbles more in phoenix and shakes his head. Yes, but not enough that he's worried. He can go flying like this for most of the day carrying someone for weeks on end.]

It is just that I should make dinner soon.

[He's quiet for a moment slowing his petting just a bit. It's obvious there's something on his mind (nothing necessarily bad, he just has that mysterious air about him) and he's not about to say what. He'll just drop hints all over.]

[Turns around and starts heading back and tilts his head curiously, waiting for Japan to explain more.]

[He doesn't really explain, just smiles lightly and pats Marco on the head. Yes.]

As long as Marco doesn't mind that we head back, that is.

[Nuzzles, chirps, and gives a quick phoenix kiss in answer.]

Marco can relax as I do so. [Goes back to leaning down and hugging.]

[Snuggles and flexes the wings, just enjoying the feel of the wind a little longer.]

A bath afterwards would be nice, wouldn't it?

[Nods in agreement. Always nice.]

[He grows quiet after that, just enjoying the silence.]

[Makes the way to the apartment soon enough and lands outside the door, switching back to human to carry Japan in his arms.] What were you looking for at Ace's warehouse anyway, eh?

Ah--

[He's a little surprised at being carried still, but he blinks it away, focusing on the question instead.]

...Ah... nothing in particular.

Oh. Just looking?

[fourseasons]

...Thinking.

[Once they're inside the apartment, he'll make gestures willing Marco to let him down.]

[Sets Japan down.] Want me to draw a bath.

What were you thinking about?

We should eat first, I believe... Something quick, at least.

[And he'll head that way, glancing back.]

...Ah... Some past moments in that place.

Oh?

[Follows along to help, or at least set the table.]

[He'll start cooking. Or getting things ready and then cooking yes.]

My watching Ace and Seifer speaking from behind a crate and stumbling out, or Ace as a child for that short period of time and Seifer and I trying to stop him from running all over, or the time Ace explained why he kidnapped me...

Good things, huh? [Watches Japan work, lost in his own thoughts. What would he say to Ace now? Or ask him? He feels like he should write a letter and burn it. Or deposit it at Ace's grave... or something.]

Nice or embarrassing...

[A fond sort of glance back at Marco, and then back to cooking.]

I suppose I was simply thinking about those who have left.
