Puzzle 001 - Voice

[Luke's very unhappy and confused right now. One moment he's traveling back to London with the Professor after their latest mystery involving an opera singer, and the next he's found himself on some random street in Discedo with no idea where he or the Professor are.

Needless to say, he's a bit scared.

Hope you liked your eardrums, guys, because the moment Luke sees the communicator he grabs it and starts yelling into it.]

Hello?!

Professor?! Emmy? Is anyone there? I don't know where I am! I found this strange device but I'm not even sure if I'm using it right...what is this awful place anyway?

...I think I can hear growling. T-there aren't wild animals around here, are there?

[He takes a deep breath and tries to calm himself down. He wasn't going to get anywhere by lashing out at every person that talked to him, and he still ought to try and be a gentleman even if this place was scary.]

No, I'm afraid I don't know a Flora either.

Ah, one at a time, Luke. First of all, no, the professor isn't here. He was for a time, but he was lucky enough to be returned to London. Secondly... now, that's a little more complicated I think. More or less, if I understand, you and I meet in your future. You know Flora before you know me, honestly.

[Luke nods although he's incredibly confused.]

So let me see if I've got this right. You and Flora are from my...future?

[Is that even possible?]

Exactly that! ((And well, he can skip the details about Luke having been here before.))

That sounds...like something out of a story or something. Is that normal here?

Uhm, nice to meet you then...Clive from the future.

Ah, just Clive is fine.

It is normal, actually. Flora arrived here just moments before meeting me the last time she came here, though she was returned home briefly and brought back a day later on her 'timeline'.
