[Action]

So, once upon a time, there was a little boy named Xiao Sheng that lived with his mother in a poor village. Because they didn't have much, he would go out to gather grass to sell at the market so they could have more money.

One year, there was a long drought. No rain fell for many many days, and it was almost impossible to find any grass to sell. But then Xiao Sheng found a patch of healthy green grass far from the village. He cut it and brought it back home, but the next day, the grass was still there, as if he hadn't even touched it.

This went on for some time, until finally he decided to dig underneath the grass. He found a pearl there and decided to bring it home, hoping to make his mother happy. He also brought the grass with him, planting it near their house so that he wouldn't need to make the trip every day. His mother thanked him for the pearl and put it in the rice jar for safekeeping.

The next morning, the grass he had planted had all withered away. But when they looked into the rice jar, they found it filled with rice! So they decided to share their good fortune with all the villagers and help everyone through the drought.
